Wolf Friend Found.
Emerald’s POV:
I look around at the cave system and see some light coming from the left. I follow it and it leads me back out into the forest. When I look back to the way I came- it was just a stone wall… I shook off the strange feeling I had and started running towards the training fields. When I got there I saw Clover teaching her third class. I ran up to her and barked. She turned and looked at me.
Clover: “Emerald!! There you are!- You should go to Lyra- she’s been worried sick about you! She went to visit Kendi.”
I nodded and ran towards Kendi’s home.
Lyra’s POV:
Kendi: “How about we go look for her? She couldn’t have gotten far-”
I smiled and nodded. We walked out onto her balcony, grabbed the gliders then jumped down. This time I wasn’t really scared though. We glided down until a certain gust of wind led us towards the Jungle where Emerald spent most of her time. When we landed we leaned the gliders against a wrack that had some other gliders, then we walked around and started searching for her.
Meanwhile…
Emerald’s POV:
I flew up to Kendi’s room and broke down the door- but she wasn’t there…. And neither was Lyra… I impatiently ran around the room until I smelled their scents which led out to the Balcony. I tilted my head but ran out onto the balcony, then lowered my head when I realized I couldn’t smell them anymore because of the wind! I sighed and jumped down, flying down to the ground.
Lyra’s POV:
We searched for a few hours, and we also sent a letter to the others, asking if they could help look for her around Arramia, but we found nothing. No sign of her anywhere… The more time it took- the more worried I was getting.
{Goddamn it! Where is she-!?? I know she can handle herself but-... what if she got hurt-?... what if she’s lost or-...}
I walked over and sat down at the base of a tree. Kendi walked over to me and sat down next to me. I curled myself into a ball and hid my face in my hands.
Kendi: “I’m sure we’ll find her soon..”
All I could do was nod as a tear slowly fell.
With Emerald:
I flew all over Arramia just trying to find them- I found Alex and the others who said Lyra was looking for me- but it didn’t help that I didn’t know where she was! I continued to fly around the landscape, I had no idea where they could be...
{The last thing I want is for Ita to panic again...}
I continued flying around, and after a few more hours it was 9 PM.
{I’ve checked everywhere except…. The Jungle!}
I Immediately turned around and started flying towards the Jungle.
Lyra’s POV:
We continued walking around until it was about 9 PM. We decide to leave the Jungle and head back to the training grounds. On our way back we stopped in a Valley to rest. I sat down curled into a ball and started silently crying. Kendi sat down next to me and hugged me. I could tell she was trying her best to comfort me and I appreciated it... We sat there for a few minutes.
“I- I just- Where could she be?! We’ve looked everywhere…”
Kendi: “She’ll turn up..” {I hope… Come on Emerald… where are you?...}
I started to cry more. Kendi pulled me closer to her, wrapping her arms around me in a comforting manner. I hugged her tightly and continued to cry.
{Where… where are you…}
Emerald’s POV:
I flew through the Jungle but still saw no sign of her. My ears went back as I started to fear the worst... But then- I heard something.. A mind reader?... No… someone who wants a mind reader to read their mind... I turned towards the faint sound of their voice and I heard Ita! I flew as fast as I could and I saw her and Ika sitting in a field. My ears went down as I saw she was crying. I landed a few feet away from them and slowly walked closer. Then I barked.
Lyra’s POV:
We sat there for a few more minutes as I continued to cry. Then suddenly I heard a bark… a very familiar bark- We both instantly turned around and saw Emerald. I stood up and ran towards her, calling out happily.
“EMERALD!!”
I hugged her tightly as I fell to the ground while still hugging her. She barked happily, her tail wagging. She licked my face and I laughed. After a few minutes, I started crying again.
“Where- Where were you-?! I- thought you were gone- or lost- or- *Sigh* Y-you made me worried sick..”
I said, My voice cracking slightly.. Kendi walked over to us and Emerald jumped up into her arms. She looked slightly surprised but didn't say anything about it. Instead, she sat down next to me and we both hugged Emerald.
She laid down in our laps and no words could describe how happy I was... My Perro Amiga was back..
