New friends
I woke up, gasping for air, and looking around- I was shaking badly and the added rush of adrenaline did NOT help- before I could realize where I was I felt another living being next to me- I looked down and realized it was Emerald- she was looking up at me worriedly. She crawled closer to me and laid her head on my stomach. I slowly calmed down and started to pet her.
{What...was... ...whatever.... was probably just a nightmare..)
I lay my head back down on my pillow and continue to pet Emerald, slowly falling back asleep. The next morning Clover wakes me up.
Clover "GIRL WAKE UP! WE. ARE. LATE!"
I stand up and yawn.
"Late for what-?"
Clover "THE KING AND QUEEN REQUESTED TO SEE YOU NOW GET READY AND MEET ME OUTSIDE-"
Hearing that I immediately ran around my room trying to find everything I needed. Once I was ready I ran outside with Emerald and followed Clover to the throne room.
Clover: "So sorry to keep you waiting your majesty's! She's here!"
Queen: "Thank you, Clover, you may go now."
Clover: "Of course."
Clover left, leaving me alone with the two royals.
Queen: "Dear, Step forward please."
I took a few steps forward and bowed.
King: "We wanted to talk about your training, how is it and do you think you're ready for your test?."
"Oh- Training is going perfectly fine and-... I'm sure I'll be ready for my test."
Queen: "Lovely, well you can have the day off. We're going to have some guards show you around. Luna! Void! Hunter!"
4 Animals walked into the room, one was a black cat with light blue eyes, the second was a fennec fox with Amber eyes, the third was a gray wolf with blue eyes and the fourth was a Black and white Kitsune fox-.
"Pardon me- I don't mean to be rude but-..."
Queen: "Hm? Oh- right, I called out 3 names- The Kitsune is our daughter, Alex."
"Ah- Alright!"
Queen: "Can you four please give her a tour of the palace and village?"
The first three nodded and Alex simply said "Sure". They led me out of the throne room and showed me to the main ballroom, to several smaller ballrooms-, where the music room is, where the kitchens are, and where the dungeons are- Then they showed me around the village which was huge- I look around at all of the half beings selling food, jewelry, clothes, Spices and more-. We stopped at a beautiful water fountain in the middle of town with the word 'Arramía' engraved on a stone tablet.
"Hey- if you don't mind me asking- What is Arramia exactly?"
They looked at me for a few minutes, then Luna spoke up.
Lune: "Arramia is this place- Where we are, this entire world that Emerald brought you to."
Alex: "And even though we aren't supposed to... We're going to show you outside of the palace and village! Just as long as you don't tell my parents."
"What-? Oh- No I promise I won't-"
Luna: "Then let's go before we get caught!"
They turn and run in a different direction and I follow them. They lead me to different places all over Arramia, each place even prettier than the last- beautiful pools, creaks, fields, meadows, valleys- It's all so beautiful. We run around for probably a few hours when Hunter speaks.
Hunter: "Guys shouldn't we go back now-? It's been almost four hours- A normal tour only takes around two-..."
Void: "Scaredy-cat"
Hunter: "For the Last time I am NOT a cat!"
Luna: "Ignore them- They fight like siblings-"
"Ok-..."
Alex looked up at the stars.
Alex: "Guys! Look! A meteor shower!"
We all look up at the sky and see the falling meteors.
"It's-...beautiful."
Alex smiled, her tails swaying in the breeze.
Luna: "I know right-?! It's amazing!"
We all sit down on the grass And I smile, looking up at the stars and the Meteor shower. We stayed there for probably an hour, and it was now getting darker- but the sky was also getting prettier- The stars were so beautiful- and it looked like there were thousands of galaxies in the sky... so many beautiful colors- Purple, blue, pink, teal, gold, dark blue, white, yellow- and you could even see some moons and what looked to be two other planets.
Luna: "What do you guys wanna do once the meteor shower stops?"
Hunter: "I don't know-..."
Alex: "Wanna yeet Void into the sky to try and bring the Meteor shower back?"
Void: "HEY!"
Alex :> "Oh hush, you saw this coming."
Void started arguing with Alex while Luna was laughing, and Hunter was just staying silent. I look around and after a few minutes, I got up and left without any of them noticing. I know it was probably a bad idea, But oh well. I found myself at a small creek with a small river and stream of fresh water. I sit down on a log and look around, listening to all of the sounds of the animals, the chirping of the crickets, the frog's ribbit, the Singing of songbirds- Nature truly is beautiful. (Shame no one in charge seems to care about it in our world-)
