A New World.
I don't remember much after we fell asleep, When I woke up I looked around and Instantly knew something was very wrong- The sky was a light periwinkle- Lavender color- the moon setting was a golden blue silver-???- The grass was pink and bright green, the flowers and bushes were all different colors- The water was sparkling?- at least it was still clear-... slightly tinted blue... Oh, at least the trees were normal! and the Sun! Ok well thank goodness for that- But this still isn't my home-
"Where even are we-?"
I asked, looking down at the small wolf, she looked up at me and licked my nose again, her tail wagging. She stood up and started walking down the mountain, I followed her and she stopped at a strange cave. After a few minutes, she went inside and after a few minutes of hesitation, she walked back out, grabbed the handle of my spear, and forcefully dragged me into the cave-
"I- Hey-! Hey!! HEY- THIS IS FORCEFULLY-"
"BARK!"
I stopped and stared at her.
{What- She just barked at me?!?!-}
"Escu-"
"BARK!"
".... I-"
"BARKKKK!"
(Her reaction): <>_<>.
I stare at her and she stares back at me.
"Can I Ta-"
"BARK."
I sigh and just let her Forcefully drag me into this cave. After a while, it became pitch black, and after a while in the darkness, there was a light- a blue light- then a pink one- then purple- then- thousands of lights appeared- all in different pastel colors- glowing- When I looked in front of us there was more light- When we got to the small opening in front of us and stepped out into a clearing I stared in awe. It was a massive cavern with sunlight shining through the canopy of leaves on the ceiling. I look around seeing a large pool of water, at least 56 feet long and 45 feet wide. I can't tell from here but it seems to be more than 12 feet deep.
"It's- beautiful..."
I say finally. looking around. She looks up at me and then jumps into the water, without a second thought I jump in after her, and we both swim up to the surface.
"Where-"
"Bark!"
She cut me off again, but she didn't seem as annoyed this time.
She pointed to a word engraved into the wall of the cavern: 'N A M E?'
I looked at her.
"You want a name?"
She nods and swims around in the water.
'Ok..."
I start thinking of names while floating in the water.
"hmm..."
"What about..."
I was about to say Yarskii which means- something in a different language but I don't remember what- Then I looked back at her, seeing her Emerald green eyes.
"....Emerald?"
She looked up at me instantly.
{Wait- No- that’s- not what I meant-.... too late now...}
“...Emerald."
She barked a response and swam over to me. After a few minutes, we got out of the water.
"Emerald..."
I murmured again, she looked up at me, her tail wagging.
"You like the name Emerald?"
She nods, licking my nose again.
