After a few months of more and more training, Clover said I would be ready for my test in 2 weeks. I just need to be able to defeat Crystal in a one-on-one dual...
Clover: "You think you're ready? -"
Clover says while I pet Emerald.
".... In all honesty- No-"
Clover sighed: "Well, I'm sure you'll do great"
"Thanks-..."
After a few minutes, Crystal appeared. We got into our positions and started fighting. We both swung our swords at the same time, making a loud 'clank! ' sound. I ended up getting a hit on her, then she got a hit on me- it kept going back and forth. I swing my sword at her again, cutting part of her cheek and nose. She started bleeding and tried to get me back but failed since I moved out of the way before she could. This kept going on for about an hour, just us getting a few hits on each other at a time- until I saw a chance and decided to take it. She was backed up against the weapons rack so I ran towards her, pushing her into the weapons rack with as much force as I could- knocking her into the weapons rack and falling to the ground, making her drop her sword. I hold my sword to her back while kicking her sword out of her reach. Clover called out.
Clover: "Done! Lyra won!"
Once she said that I put my sword away and helped Crystal up, giving her her sword back.
Crystal was silent for a few minutes then smiled.
Crystal: "Not bad for someone who only started training a few months ago. Can't wait to see how you do during your test."
She put her sword back in its sheath and then walked off.
"...Am I hallucinating or was she actually nice to me just then-?"
Clover shrugged and started cleaning up the weapons rack which got knocked over I walked over and helped her but I didn't get much done before Emerald came running towards me at full speed, barking loudly- She jumped onto me and it felt like I was hit by a boulder as I stumbled backward-
"AHHCK-"
"Bark! Bark!"
I fall to the ground with Emerald licking my face and Clover silently dying of laughter while still fixing the weapons rack.
'Emerald!!"
"Bark!"
I sigh and smile, petting her as she lays down in my lap.
"Seriously, why are you so adorable-?!"
She looked up at me and tilted her head, which made her look even more adorable- (Or how I call it, MINECRAFT DOG MOMEEEENNTTTT-). She looked at me confused then licked my nose, which just made me laugh.
"Seriously you're so sweet! -"
Emerald wagged her tail curled up into a little ball of fluff and slowly fell asleep. Clover seemed to notice Emerald fall asleep and spoke up again.
Clover: "Go ahead back to the sleeping house- you both can have the rest of the day off."
I smile and say my thanks to Clover before picking Emerald up and heading back to the sleeping house which- Yes. That is what it's called- I walk in and set her down on my bed, laying down next to her and slowly falling asleep while petting her. After what feels like forever- I suddenly wake up and look around- everything is.... cold... extremely cold... 6 was breathing slowly and it was so-... cold... I look around and see no one- I'm not even in the sleeping house anymore- I seem to be in a burned-down field-... But why is it so cold?!...
{E-Emerald?..... Clover?....}
I look around and see a giant volcano.
"I-it-'s s-so cold-..."
Suddenly waves of animals start running at me- running past me and knocking me to the ground- They're running away from the volcano and I see a cat-... or what looks to be a cat- running after all of them- It's not until too late that I realize why they were running-... The cat was extremely small- a Kit basically- Walking one minute, running the next- Its eyes were wide open and it was smiling-...... Oh gosh- that smile was-... terrifying... It looked at me and its eyes went black and its smile got even creepier- I tried to run but I was stuck to the ground- I was frozen to the ground- Just as it walked up to me and smiled at me, it bent into a terrifyingly unrealistic stance, it has thousands and thousands of teeth that were razor sharp- It lunged at me, and everything went dark.
