chapter 65: Noelle vs solid

The first round of the Royal knights test was coming closer to a close as the next match began with Lucks team facing off against a man from the aqua deer, purple orcas and the man from the silver eagles Rob Vitesse. The people on the stone stage looked surprised as blasts of smoke shot up from the battle area.

"This battle is different from the rest," Vanessa said.

"Yeah usually one of the teams will be focused on defense, but these guys are attacking directly," Finral said as Klaus rushed forward as the man from the aqua deer shot a blast of water at him.

"Steel creation magic, full steel fortress," he said as a steel wall shot up from the ground and blocked the mages attack as Klaus stayed behind cover, "Were close now we just need to get past them," he thought seeing the enemy teams crystal ahead of them. Then he looked surprised as the aqua deer mage jumped past his cover to the right side as water began to surround him.

But then Luck with his arms and legs covered in lightning armor jumped at him, shocking the water and his opponent making him fall back with a shocked look on his face. Luck smiled while carrying his teams crystal with his left arm, "Lightning magic, thunderbolt destruction," he said blasting lighting at the enemy teams crystal surprising everyone.

"Impressive, they really have gotten stronger," Klaus thought looking impressed.

"Me and Luck have been going on missions a lot these last few months," Magna said smiling, "Rank doesn't mean a thing to us,".

"Yeah you show him Luck," Vanessa said cheering.

From where he was standing behind cover Klaus pushed up his glasses, "I must admit that their strength seemed to be that of a intermediate magic knight, but they really have gotten stronger and so have I," he thought as he got up from behind his cover and stood in front of the man from the purple orcas as he thought back to the training he had done recently, "Inspired by Asta Ive been training hard recently, making both my muscles and mind stronger, and I will not give up," he thought holding out his right arm where a steel lance appeared around it, "Steel magic, fierce spiral lance," he said as his spell broke through the purple orcas defense spell.

"Hey that was really good," said Luck landing next to Klaus who had serious look on his face as he looked ahead of them. Luck then noticed the man from the silver eagles floated in front of his teams crystal with wind moving around him.

"Yes but here comes our real challenge, Rob Vitesse," Klaus said as they got ready to fight.

"Hmm, seems I will have to help my teammates here," Paulie said grabbing her teams crystal from Lucks hand and flew into the air with wings on her back.

"Whoa she can fly," said Asta looking surprised.

"Now here's a little cover for my teammates," Paulie said as feathers shot from the wings and towards the enemy who held up their arms to defend themselves, "And a little jump to help our little fighter," she said as the wind blew down Klaus's cover and Luck jumped off it. He flew by the man from the purple Orcas and the aqua deer.

But before he reached the crystal Rob jumped in front of it and had a smile on his face, "Lets see who really is the strongest," he said. Luck smiled as he kicked his right leg forward with a smile on his face.

"Yes, lets fight some more," he thought as he kicked Rob into the crystal, destroying it.

The announcer then declared Lucks teams victory as the black bulls on the stone stage cheered, "Yeah way to go," said Magna.

Luck looked up back up at the stone stage, but instead of looking at his squad mates he was staring at one of the people he would be facing in the second round, the captain of the aqua deer who was staring at him as well.
