chapter 79: Wizard king Julius Novachrono

In the streets of the royal capital, the citizens were looking towards the castle surprised. "The castle, is there someone fighting there," a man said a flashed of light appeared around the castle. Around the castle Julius flew around before firing balls of light at Licht. He dodged out of the way before firing light swords at Julius who dodged. The light swords hit the wall and sent rubble flying. Julius trapped pieces of the rubble in spheres before sending them flying at Licht who cut through them with a light sword.

Meanwhile the entire castle shook from the battle. "Sir over here," A mage said leading Marx to a window and he could see the battle.

"This power, its Julius and he's fighting someone," he thought looking worried as he watched Julius dodge his opponents attacks. "A mage who can keep up with the wizard king and who uses light magic, theres only person like that, the leader of the eye of the midnight sun, Licht," he thought looking surprised.

"But this doesn't make any sense, the royal knights are out on a mission to defeat him," he thought when more mages walked into the area.

"What's happening, who is the wizard king fighting, what should we do," some of them said sounding nervous. Marx clenched his fists before looking back with a serious look on his face.

"Everyone remain calm, this is one of those times where our metal will be tested and right now we need to remained focused," he said.

"Yes sir," they said giving the salute while Marx looked back outside the window.

"That's right, the most important thing I can do now is remain calm," Marx thought as his grimoire flew in front of him and opened. "If we were to join in the battle we would just be a distraction for Julius, the only ones who stand a chance against Licht would be the ones at captain level," he thought.

Then using his magic, an image of him appeared at all the magic knight headquarters. "This is a message to all magic knights, please listen," Marx said.

Over at the blue rose knight headquarters. "Hey Char," Sol said pointing at the image.

"A transmission," Charlotte said looking serious. "Whats happening Marx," she thought.

Over with Jak who was with Sekke. "It's a transmission," Sekke said looking confused.

At the headquarters of the crimson lions. Some of the members along with Leopold were in Feugoleon's room. "Whats going on," one of them said while Leopold looked serious.

"As of right now the wizard king is fighting someone believe to be the leader of the eye of the midnight sun Licht," Marx said making the knights look surprised.

"The battle is currently still going on and we might need assistance from the magic knight captains," he said. "All knights await orders from your captains and arrange your guards," he said. Then the transmission stopped.

"The wizard king is fighting," one of the knights said.

"What should we do, captain Mereoleona isn't here," one of them said while Leopold clenched his fist.

"This is the perfect chance to get payback for my brother," he thought. "But first," he thought before getting up and getting everyones attention. "Whats gotten into all of you, you call yourselves the crimson lions," he said.

"Remember what my brother always told you, remain calm and we can win," he said. "So lets get ready for battle," he said holding his fist in the air and making his squad members cheer.

"Theres a battle in the capital, what should we do our captain isn't here," members of the golden dawn said looking confused. Yami looked serious before quickly picking up his broom and flying out the window.
