chapter 69: Asta vs Langris

Over on the battlefield after Finral and Langris match. Langris was about to attacked a downed Finral when the black bulls surrounded him, "You black bulls may have gotten lucky to reach it this far, but do you really think you can stand up to vice captain of the golden dawn," Langris said still holding up his hand ready to strike.

"This has nothing to do with rank, were just trying to save our friend," Asta said with an angered look on his face. Two doors then appeared, they opened revealing a spacial portal. Julius, Owen, Marx and Cob walking out of it. Owen quickly rushed over to Finral and placed his hands over him.

"Do you think you can help him?" Noelle asked.

"Ill do the best I can, water recovery magic, Aqua healing," he said as a large jelly fish appeared behind him and its tentacles stretched over his hands and started to glow over Finral's wounds.

"Ha you see, what a failure of a magic knight who cant even use his magic to attack," said Langris smiling.

"Watch it," said Magna looking annoyed.

"You know I change my mind, your done," said Luck.

"Finrals one of the nicest people I know and hes always used his magic to help people," said Asta looking serious, "Hes a true magic knight, you're the failure," he said making Langris look annoyed.

"You'll pay for that insult," he said.

"As much as I enjoy watching the fight, killing a fellow magic knight isnt right, especially in this tournament," Julius said stepping forward.

Langris looked annoyed before smiling, "You black bulls may have done well by making it this far, but your still your still a bunch of weak underlings," he said, "And someone needs to remind you," he said sending his hand down.

Asta noticed the spell and easily cut through it, surprising Langris.

"Asta," said Noelle.

"Maybe its time I show you, just how strong our squad is," Asta said.

"Wizard king sir, your not going to stop this?" Marx asked looking worried.

"If this was a real battle, no one would be able to tell when it begins or ends," Julius said looking serious when Langris spoke up.

"Wizard king sir, allow me to put these black bulls in their rightful place, in fact we can start right now," said Langris making the black bulls look surprised while Asta held up his sword, "Let the semi finals, begin," he said as he and Asta ran at each other.

But when they jumped, they froze in the air. It was then revealed they were trapped in a blue sphere, "Time binding magic, my crono stasis," Julius said standing between them, "Now I know how much you want to fight but this is still a tournament," he said.

"Don't worry, will have everything ready before everything calms down," he said before looking at Cob, "Were going to need new crystals and the rest of their teams," he said making him look surprised.

"Uh just who will I be retrieving?" He asked.

"For team B will need Xerx and Mimosa, team G is missing Fragil and Sekke," Marx explained.

Outside the black bulls headquarters Yami and Charlotte stood in front of Sekke, "So you were hit by Finral's spell and sent here," Charlotte said.

"Yes that's true," said Sekke.

"Well make sure you don't go telling anyone about Charlotte being a black bull, she isn't ready for her squad to know yet," said Yami, "Got it," he said looking serious.

"Haha, I completely understand," Sekke said when two doors appeared behind Yami and Charlotte. They opened revealing a spacial portal and Cob walking out of it.
