chapter 83: Break out

In the capital. Not far from Yami and the controlled Charlotte were fighting. Sol placed the dark orb in a large hole in the ground. Not knowing Julius body was inside it. "There we go, it should be safe now," Sol said as the earth from the golem covered the hole.

"That black bull, he acted like it was something important," she said looking confused. Then she heard the explosion from Yami and Charlottes spells clashing. "Wait what," she said before running in that direction.

In the area of the battle. Charlottes hair was now down and her right gauntlet was cut in two. Making her look surprised as she stared at the pile of rubble where Yami was. "My spell was powerful but yet he was able to cut it in two," she thought. "He cut off my right gauntlet and was able to prevent more of the town from being destroyed," she thought.

"Hes very powerful for a human," she thought. She then looked back at Marx and Owen who were still unconscious. "Then again he was able to defeat those two, I wont lose again," she thought looking serious. She then looked up as her thorns lifted her into the air.

"I need to save my magic, so I'll wait for Licht and the others to arrive," she thought as her thorns moved forward. Sol watched as Charlotte moved further away.

"No Char, but what happened to black bulls captain," she said before running to the battle area. She looked surprised as she looked at the pile of rubble. "No, she wouldn't have crushed him," she said. Then the rubble began to shake and Yami jumped out of it looking annoyed.

"Hey you get back here were not finished," he said. "I'm not letting you get away with this, your gonna so pay for the next dinner we go out too," he said.

"Uh what are you talking about," Sol said looking confused.

"Crap," Yami thought looking nervous. "Not now there are more important things to worry about," he said looking serious.

"Uh okay," Sol said.

"Did you take care of that thing for me?" He asked. "It better be safe," he said looking serious.

"Yeah it is, but I still don't know whats so important about it," she said. "Anyway I thought I could trust you with Char," she said looking annoyed.

"Yeah I'm still working on that," said Yami calmly. "Alright I know what you need to do next," he said making her look surprised.

He then pointed at her, "There are other magic knights in the city, go join up with them and help the citizens," he said.

"Right," said Sol saluting before running off.

Yami then sighed. "Me and Charlotte are going to have to talk to her when this is over," he thought. He then looked towards magic knight headquarters.

"Now for my own path," he thought.

All over the capital the destruction continued. More magic knight squad members changed. In the prison, cells were destroyed. "Well looks like I'm finally free," a male voice. The man walked into hallway. Revealing it was Gueldre. The former captain of the purple orcas who was revealed to be a traitor.

"I knew it was a mistake I was put in here," he said smiling.

"I must say I'm not surprised to see you here captain," another male voice said. Gueldre looked down the hallway to see a man walking towards him. He had a long hair and a scar on the right side of his face. "Sorry I should say former captain," he said smiling.

"Well if isn't chain mage Revchy," Gueldre said smiling. "I didn't think I would see you here but I'm not surprised," he said.

"Don't be like that captain," he said. "After all you're the one who assigned me the mission that resulted in this scar," he said pointing at his face. "Since the mission resulted in a failure I was expelled from the purple orcas," he said.

"Well you can't blame all that on me," Gueldre said. "You had a reputation where your squad members didn't much like you," he said. The two of then started walking toward each other.

"Big talk from someone who got Locked up," said Revchy.

"Well your magic involves stealing from others," Gueldre said.

"Well at least you finally got what you deserved," Revchy said.

"Well I wouldn't be here in the first place if it wasn't for," Gueldre said looking annoyed.

They then grabbed each other by the front of their robes and spoke at the same time. "If it wasn't for that little upstart and his anti magic," they said. They said nothing as they both remembered being taken down by Asta.

"You too," said Gueldre.

"Yeah," said Revchy. There was then an explosion from the ceiling as the two of them stepped back. Then a man wearing the silver eagles robe flew down. He was covered by light and had red markings on his face.

"So there are humans here too," he said calmly.

"This isn't good," said Revchy looking nervous.

"This mans magic power is strong," thought Gueldre looking nervous. "You don't have to kill us," Gueldre said stepping forward.

"In fact I believe I can assist you, let me speak to your leader," he said.

The man looked annoyed as water balls formed around him. Spikes appearing at the end. "You think I would trust another human, never again," he said angrily. "Your all done for," he said.

"Well Revchy it looks like he wants to destroy us," Gueldre said as his grimoire looked in front of him. Its pages turned, "Seems we have no other choice," he said smiling.

"Yes," Revchy said smiling as his own girmoire floated in front of him. "Will have to work together," he said as the pages turned.

"I wont let you escape," the man said.

"Transparency magic, invisible cloak plus invisible buddy," Gueldre said. The spell turning him and Revchy invisible. The man looked surprised by the spell.

"I cant see you so ill just have to fire everywhere," he said. He shot the water bullets all around him. The bullets hit the wall making smoke go up. The man stood there looking confused until chains trapped him.

"Chain magic, binding chain formation," Revchy said.

"These chains are draining my magic," the man thought. After a few moments of trying to escape. He fell unconcisous and the spell covering Gueldre and Revchy vanished.

"It looks like will have to work together a little longer," said Gueldre.

"Right," said Revchy as they started walking away.

"Lets work together to clear our names," Gueldre said as they walked out of prison.
