chapter 109: Finral up again

While Yami, the elf in control of Charlottes body and Licht were facing off against the winged creature. Back outside where Yami and Jack had faced off against the controlled Langris with Finral. The castles mages were currently using healing magic on Finral who seemed to be having a nice dream.

"Oh don't worry I have time for all of you," he said with a smile on his face.

"Are we sure this guy is okay," one of the mages said.

"Just focus on healing him, he is one of the people who helped save us," another one said Nero flew down and landed in front of Finrals head before he staretd speaking again.

"Come on lets keep going," he said before Nero rapidly pecked him on the forehead and waking him up, "Okay we can take a break, wait Nero what are you doing here," he said looking confused to see the Anti bird.

"There isn't much time, take me to old demons bones immediately ," Nero said making Finral look shocked before he screamed.

"Wait Nero you cant talk, birds cant talk but you're a bird so why are you talking," Finral said still looking shocked as he looked around, "Wait did I fall asleep again, what happened," he said.

"That bird is talking," one of the mages said.

"It must have come here to help us," another said.

"There isn't time for this, I need you to make a portal and take us to old demon bones now," Nero said before looking over at the unconscious Langris, "This isn't good, if something isn't done the humans that have been taken over by Elf wont be able to return to normal,".

"So we must go,".

"This day keeps getting weirder," Finral said still looking confused.

Back in the shadow palace Yami finally landed a hit on the creature and cut off its left arm and wing, "Now return," the creature said as its wing and arm re attached making Yami look surprised.

"Now tempest of blades," he said sending out multiple swords and Yami looked annoyed as he jumped and blocked them.

"That word soul magic is a real problem, anything he says appears and hes able to move them around and this tempest of blades thing is both of them put together," Yami thought jumping onto another step before he blocked more of the swords, "Though since he hasn't ordered for both of us to die then there has to be some kind of limit,".

"Hey Charlotte," Yami said looking at the elf in control of his girlfriends body.

"My names Charla," she said before using vines to blocked the swords heading for her, "He was only able to destroy some of the briars earlier, is that because of how far he could reach," she thought before shooting vines at the creature that blocked it, "Is his magic so powerful that it can overwhelm our own," she thought.

"Ah," Yami said sending a slash at the creature and it flew out of the way, "Looks like my magic has an effect on it otherwise it wouldnt have dodged," he thought as Licht blocked his slash with his sword. It then absorbed the attack and he sent it back at the creature and cut its arm.

"Ha, not bad," Yami said smiling.

"Surprising that you have that much fight in you even though your not fully awake," the creature said.

"True, Lichts not even fighting at his full strength, this could be trouble," Charlotte thought.

"In terms of raw power he has us all beat," Yami thought looking annoyed.

"My its so fun having people to fight now that I have my own body and this five leaf grimoire," the creature said, "Lets see what It can do," he said as the grimoire opened.

"Now word soul magic," he said before speaking in a different language as a large dark portal appeared behind him. Yami and Charlotte look surprised.

"What is this," Yami thought.

"Is this power from the other world," Charlotte thought as they watched a large purple substance poured out.

"I'm a creature for another dimension, you never stood a chance," the creature said as more of the substance continued to pour out and into one of the passages.

Back with Astas group, "What is that," he said looking up the passage.

Back with Yami he cut through the substance as more covered the room, "The more I cut the more that comes out," he thought as Charlotte sent thorns into the substance. Only to look surprised as her spell vanished.

"Its absorbing my magic," Charlotte thought before Yami spoke up.

"Dark magic, dark blunt slash," Yami said using the darkness to push her away from the substance.

"What do you think your doing," Charlotte said looking annoyed before Yami cut through the substance as he was closer to it. The substance hit him before he jumped back.

He then looked to see his arm was badly bruised, "Its not just absorbing my magic but my fighting strength as well," he thought looking annoyed.

"There it is, this substance drains the life force of everything it touches and it wont stop until it consumes everything," the creature said as more of the substance headed towards Yami.

Back with Astas group the substance had begun to pour into the room from the passage, "What is that stuff," Asta said looking surprised.

"Whatever it is it cant be good," Yuno said as he and Patry jumped into the air.

"Light magic, light swords of conviction ," Patry said sending light swords at the substance.

"Wind magic tornado fang," Yuno said sending a tornado at the substance.

The spells had no effect as the hit the substance, "It absorbed their mana," Patry thought before the a drop of it hit him on the left arm and bruised it badly, "Don't let it touch you," he said as some of the stuff got close to Rhya and Mimosa.

"Look out," Asta said pushing the two of them away before the substance fell on him.

"Oh no," Mimosa said.

"Asta," Yuno said looking surprised before something cut through the substance.

The substance was destroyed as Asta cut through it with the demon slayer sword, "That was close," Asta said looking surprised.

"Your okay," Mimosa said.

"I guess it didn't feel like eating someone with no magic," Yuno said.

"A little concern would be nice," Asta said looking annoyed.

"It looks like anti magic has an effect on that kind of power," Nozel thought.

A few moments later Mimosa had Magic flower guide post working, "Oh no, it looks like that substance is heading to the other rooms in the shadow palace," she said looking worried.

"No," Asta said looking worried as well.

"The only one swift enough to get everyone out of here," Nozel thought as he thought of Noelle, "Our mission is to protect the people of this kingdom, but that doesn't mean we leave any of our own behind, I will go find the others and I will need you to come with me Vermillion," he said looking at Mimosa.

"Understood," Mimosa said.

"The three of you seem to have a better understanding of whats going on better then I do, so I will leave this to the three of you," Nozel said, "With Astas anti magic, Yunos wind magic and Patrys light magic,".

"If you use all three of them together then you should be able to defeat him, do not fail," he said.

"Right," Asta said looking determined as he, Yuno and Patry walked away together.
