chapter 111: Friends reunited

The group at the top of the shadow palace was Asta, Yuno, Patry, Licht and the creature. But then two others arrived, the first wizard King Lumiere and Nero in her original form.

"Hey Yuno are you seeing what I'm seeing," Asta said looking surprised.

"Yeah," Yuno said looking surprised.

"I know I'm not seeing things, but that looks like the first wizard king," Asta said remembering the statue back in Hage, "Wow are you really him, this is awesome," he said looking excited.

"Asta calm down, this really isnt the time for that," Yuno said looking calm while Lumiere looked back at them.

"Who are they?" He asked.

"Their part of the magic knights, they helped gather the magic stones, the one next to them is an elf who was reincarnated," Nero said before looking up at Licht. He now had a surprised look on his face from their appearance, "My prince we should see to Licht now," she said.

"Your right," Lumiere said before in a flash of light they appeared in front of Licht and Nero placed her hand on his chest.

"It's surprising, but somehow that forbidden magic reincarnated is soul completely intact," Nero said.

"Can you wake him up," Lumiere said.

"Yes," Nero said as she place both of her hands forward and a blue symbol appeared on Lichts chest. She thne thought back to how she thought her magic could only be used to open and close things. But with the princes help and helping him work on his magic items. She could now open any seal.

A bright line shined on Licht as the others watched them looking surprised. Then as the light stopped Licht spoke up, "There was something I wanted to tell you back then, but can now," he said looking at Lumiere, "Thank you Lumiere," he said smiling and his old friend did the same.

"I don't believe it," Patry said before in another flash the three of them stood in front of him, "Licht I," he said.

"Patry, while my soul did remain dormant I saw everything that happened, a long time ago I was overcome with malice but someone stopped me from hurting others, that person was my friend Lumiere," Licht said, "I don't how it happened, but looks like someone did the same for you," he said noticing Asta and Yuno standing behind Patry.

"When you took up that sword you did what you thought was right, but to the people you struck down it was an unforgivable crime," Licht said and Patry looked down with a sad look on his face, "This may not fix what you've done, but I hope it can offer some comfort," he said before putting hand on Patry and hugging him.

"Licht," Patry said before tears slipped from his eyes.

"But right now," Licht said before turning to look at the creature with a serious look on his face, "Its time we put an end to this fight once and for all," he said.

"My looks like your finally awake, but I have a feeling I need to destroy both of you, right now," the creature said before more of the purple substance shot towards the group making most of them look surprised.

"This isnt good," Asta said.

"Light magic, mana zone lamp of oviore," Lumiere said as his light magic shined around him.

"Sword magic, raging origin flash," Licht said sending out multiple slashes with his sword and Lumieres light blasted forward destroying all of the substance that was heading towards them.

The others looked surprised by their power, "I see, the one who used the forbidden magic and the one that was affected by it, I see they've been effected by that world," the creature thought before the two of them flew towards him.
