"You're finally back... Mordred..." Artoria looking a mix between hesitant and cross as Mordred took a few more seconds to right her steps.
Yu ignored the two of them as she went back to her room, relieved to see that Nursery Rhyme and Jack were not there. "Huh, why was she there with you, Father?"
"Why do you think? You decided to spend the night... sleeping with my Master!" Artoria reminded her, sounding a lot more tense than Mordred thought she should be.
Yes, it was true. She did. "Well, I was doing it because I wanted to make sure that Fran was okay; she brought me into it. Would you have rejected her if she did that?" Mordred asked, effectively making Artoria pause. "Besides, oh, he was so good, Father~! I couldn't stand a chance against him, but it makes sense when even Mash can't using Galahad's power."
Artoria slumped. "I... need some time to think..." she told Mordred, losing the ability to be angry with her.

Finally ready to depart, the majority of them moved towards the underground region in London. Fran was made to stay back as she wasn't a Servant, but they made sure to reassure here while thanking Jekyll for helping take care of. It was his pleasure, nothing to worry about as they departed down to face whatever lurked there.
"Under Londinium, huh? I knew there was a subway underground, but who'd have thought there'd be something under that. And how dense this Demonic Fog is... Isn't it getting thicker the lower we go?" Mordred commented.
"The Mage's Association only excavated the area right under the British Museum... Hard to think an individual secretly built an underground labyrinth, so maybe this existed before London took shape?"
Olga carefully walked with as much protection as she could muster. "There's just too much we don't know."
"There's this old story. Deep underneath the Tower of London, the head of an ancient king of Britain named Bran is buried, and it watches over Londinium. The Tower of London has other stories, like the crows. They're said to be the avatar of my father, King Arthur. The best they could give crows!" Mordred pointed out, laughing over the fact.
"Is something funny, Mordred?" Artoria called out, feeling like the night from before was carrying on as Mordred was beginning to make her suffer.
"Is a fight going to break out?" Jack asked, Mash shaking her head and Keiji affirming as her Nursery Rhyme went to making sure that Olga was protected
They continued down to find the source of the Demonic Fog filling London. Enemies followed as they travelled further down, going several hundred metres down. It was no problem for the combined force they had, with even Olga heavily secured and comfortable as the mobs weren't able to even reach within 30 metres of them before being crushed.
"Does anyone know why is it called Angrboda?" Keiji asked, racking his brain a bit. "If I'm correct, I think it's something from Norse mythology," Keiji added.
"Right, Angrboda is a Divinity from Norse mythology. They brought forth Fenrir, World Serpent, and the Goddess of Death among others."
'I'll thank Rossweisse for that,' Keiji thought, having a valkyrie for a wife was worth it.
"With Loki, right? An unbelievable woman giant, but I don't hate her. It's not often that you see someone give birth to so many troublesome beings— Definitely worth punching. I'm sure she has thick skin too, so I can get down and hack her into pieces, right?" Mordred commented, an emotion springing forth as a few of them had an inkling that she spoke in part to who her mother was.
Artoria patted Mordred on the shoulder. "Let us focus ahead," she said, trying to divert the situation and feeling that talking to Mordred might make things better. They were together in this Singularity, so they had to work together.
