"You're not joking, are you?! Is this really true, Romani?! Double-check! I really have to make sure!"
Romani wanted to sigh, and he probably would have gotten away with it. "Yes, Director. Me and Da Vinci have even tripled-checked the data to make sure. The results have already confirmed that you have capacity to Rayshift, at a high level might I add. Similar to the candidates for Team A."
Olga unable to react, too busy shaking her mind with everything being told to her. Was her mind incinerated with humanity? It would make sense, but the truth was right there for her to enjoy.
"Still, you should take your time. The situation we are in is very unusual, so there is no need for you to even a summon a Servant if you don't want to. After what happened, we don't blame you if you want to stay off the frontlines."
Olga nodded to Romani's statement, but she needed true time alone to wonder about what to do in this situation. Her deep thoughts leaving her whilst Romani took to what he was meant to be looking at. An old roll of paper laid out in front of him, a rare artifact to be examined... it was only a shame Keiji happened to walk in while Romani was smelling it.
"Um, Romani..."
Shame acted quick, blood flowing fast, speedy enough to have the paper retreat a safe distance from his nose. "Tell me when you come in! And it's not what it looks like! This a rare Chaldean artifact! A scripture from long ago!"
"Why were you smelling it? Not that I'm shaming you. I would have expected you to be drinking coffee."
Romani's shoulders slumped. Is that all I'm known for?" he muttered, shaking his head. "I suppose I can tell you. It's just that sometimes there's a nice, rich smell coming from it," Romani explained.
Keiji shrugged his shoulders. 'He does his job, nothing to bother him about.'
Both of them stopping the moment the announcement for Rayshifted began. "Wait, why is this happening?! Is it because this is a summoning catalyst!? Stop! Stop!" Romani called out, but nothing could stop the inevitable as Keiji didn't even bother running out of the room. Only accepting this was going to happen. All Singularities had to be dealt with any way.

"Why am I trapped between two boulders?"
The Singularities continuing to surprise Keiji in a way that it shouldn't have. His mind always put to the 'shouldn't be surprised' setting, but it was more than just that. The wackiness of how he ended up was another thing that was going to bug him for a long time. Keiji's senses pointing him to such a belief.
"Hey! Do you need help?!"
Breaking the boulder trapping him was the response Keiji gave as he looked at the one who aided him. No comments made about the choice of outfit they wore. "I'm fine. You wouldn't happen to know where we are, though?" Keiji asked.
The woman smiled. "I sure do! We're at the border between the Tang Empire's realm and Gaochang at the foot of the Five Elements Mountain," she explained.
Keiji nodded. "Thanks for that. I should probably ask for your name. You can call me Keiji," he added, making sure to try to get as much information as possible. Just from sensing them, they were strong enough he wouldn't be surprised if they were a Servant and most likely responsible for the reason he Rayshifted in the first place. 'Then again, this might be from before the time they've become a Heroic Spirit.'
"I'm Xuanzang Sanzang! I'm journeying to Tianzhu under the decree of the emperor of the Tang Dynasty collecting scriptures. I had the help of a demon that I subdued, but it fled later. And with the several days I was lost, my horse was eaten. But it's okay! I will make sure that I make it through this journey!"
