"There's less and less people in London... but it feels like they are all in my room," Jekyll lamented as he watched complete chaos unfold. Not only were Nursery Rhyme and Jack running around, uncaring for anything they might trip or crash into, but now Andersen and Shakespeare were going at it like the writers that they were.
Mash blinking at seeing the way Keiji casually picked up Jack and Nursery Rhyme, trying to get them to calm down while they spun in his grip. Olga needing to rest as she couldn't deal with this nonsense, too much mess, a lack of authority on her part to do anything about it.
Mordred kicking back and relaxing while chugging on more soda. Artoria trying to do what she could to make sure that Mordred wasn't too lax. "Mordred, can't you show a bit of manners?"
"Huh, are you my... Yes, you are. But so what? Me and Jekyll are a team, we're working together. This is just a bonus. He doesn't mind, do you, Jekyll?"
Jekyll let a nervous laugh, deciding not to answer. He nodded to make sure Artoria was aware that he was grateful for her assistance. Yu the furthest away from everyone else all the same, tending to the bookshelf while making minimal eye contact. This was her status quo, unchanging as she tried to clear her head of the mess from before.
"Knowing that the Helter Skelter can be mass-produced is troubling. I take it that the death of one of the leaders must have forced them to build up their strength in order to obtain materialized Heroic Spirits. We should think of it that way. But I wonder what kind of Heroic Spirit they're seeking..."
Mordred rolled her eyes. "How should I know? Speaking of thinking, there's a freeloader who's only good for thinking. Hell, we got two of 'em. What are they doing right now, Jekyll? They're in the study, right?"
"You called?" Andersen said, a scone in his hand.
"Did you summon us?" Shakespeare added.
Mordred almost regretted her actions from the sheer virtue of seeing them, swallowing that danger done with another gulp. "Yeah, we're planning to see if you actually have worth given all your freeloading."
"Ah, how harsh, young knight. Should I recount Macbeth? I'm sure you can relate to it well," Shakespeare commented, Keiji and Mash wincing at those words. Did he have no shame?
Clarent wasn't materialised yet, a miracle already, but Mordred's intent to maim was clear. Artoria's presence and the whole situation came into Mordred; they had more important things to do, making her mind clear up as she slumped on the sofa. "Alright, useless 1, useless 2, do you have any advice on what to do? For Casters, you sure are incompetent."
"Not entirely. I have made sure to focus on writing down the events on paper. Andersen, what have you done?" Shakespeare threw it back on the Dutch writer.
Andersen clicking his teeth. "Put up with you. Nevertheless, I've had something funny tickling me, like some creepy Buddhist nun. The seven Singularities. More precisely, something about the magecraft ritual called the Holy Grail War bothers me. I don't have enough materials to make a judgment. To be honest, I'm almost at a stalemate."
Mordred rolling her eyes at how helpful they were, needing more reason to drink the amazing soda as she tapped her feet. "Ah, excuse me. Can we get back on topic? A review of the current situation, and future plans? Luckily, the enemy's awareness is focusing on the Demonic Fog. If they wanted to wipe us out, they'd go around destroying buildings. The fact that they haven't means the enemy is only aware of the streets that the Demonic Fog extends to. I'm sure there's something there to take advantage of—"
"You finally have a location for us to go to, Romani?!" Olga asked in a hurry.
Romani left a nervous laugh out. "Well, I was hoping so..." he muttered, making them all slump at the false hope.
