The heat rushed towards them as they finally made it to the Flaming Mountains. An intensity that would truly make it a journey to Tianzhu as Sanzang took a deep breath looking at the raging fire that came about. "This fire was once a leaping flame from the Eight Trigrams Furnace in heaven," Sanzang started.

'What the hell is she even talking about?' Keiji's brain slightly fried with everything that had happened. He was still attentive to what was going on but not much of it was sticking in his head.

"I'll die if I walk through this but this must be a trial from the Buddha," Sanzang spoke, with Keiji already able to tell where this was going. While he could stop it in a flash, allowing the 'monk' to realise how wrong she was would be important. Sometimes, people need their own stupidity to backfire in their face to properly understand.

Psyching herself up, Sanzang moved into the blazing inferno. Amazingly, it looked like a case of Keiji swallowing his words back up as she was moving through the fire and the flames, but that was just one problem of the overall challenge that was the Flaming Mountains. Sanzang coughing and gasping for air as Keiji quickly swooped her way from it. "Okay, you impressed me with your endurance against the actual flames, but at least you now know that the heat and smoke are going to suffocate you, so don't try it like that."

Keiji putting her down to rest as Sanzang coughed till she felt better, a simple remedy. No further problems to be aware of as she straightened up. "I don't think these are the Flaming Mountains. At least, they aren't the ones that I know of."

"This journey is going to take forever. isn't it?" Keiji mumbled.

Nothing too problematic but the minor demons racing after them was something that Keiji wasn't bothered to deal with. Luckily, he didn't have to bother. Once again, thanking the many worlds that he had traversed, his acquired grimoire flipped to a section where violently lightning thrashed around.

The threat feeling the thunder as lightning choked the life out of them, scarring them and tearing into their flesh. The demons lacked the chance to even bleed, their bodies scorched upon immediate contact as the volcano still persisted whilst Keiji easily took care of any more clean-up that was left.

"Thank the Buddha you are with me. This would be so more exhausting."

A cracking sound made them pause before the familiar voice picked up: "Finally, I thought it would take forever before I could get in contact with you."

"Romani. Did you find anything that can help?"

"You might have already figured it out, but it's to do with those scriptures you are collecting. From what I'm observing here, it looks like attaining them seems to be upgrading Sanzang in a way I can't explain, but it's important to keep on the lookout for them. It's probably some development for her to be completed, then this Singularity is likely to end."

Nodding to that, the connection was soon cut off but now a new problem looked to be present as the volcano was more violent in how it spewed the waves of lava in them. "Sanzang, can you just give me a moment. I need to make things more safer for us."

"Uh, sure," Sanzang replied, not entirely sure how to act for that.

Releasing his Boosted Gear, Keiji gathered several Boosts. Once sufficiently charged, Keiji directed his hand towards the mountain. A powerful wave of demonic-dragon energy blasting forward through the volcano, running through all the lava and making the volcano erupt. Keiji would have originally floated above the volcano and released the attack but he didn't want to risk any accidents happening.

Finding that it was better off obliterating the whole thing while he was at it, the giant outburst of energy making Sanzang gasp and cover her eyes, even with the hat atop her head ready to provide protection. The force of the blast too great to not prevent a massive uproar of wind feedback exploding throughout the area.
