"I'm a Rider, Iskandar, the King of Conquerors!"
"You shouldn't be exposing yourself so clearly!" his Servant complained, but it fell on deaf ears, not just because of the Servant not listening to him but because the Master's voice didn't reach past the bellowing roar the Servant gave off.
"The famous ruler of Macedonia!" Irisviel mentioned, whilst Mash continued to keep her sights on the Assassin the whole time. Her shield ready for both, but she held firm in her faith that the other two could handle even a famous hero like Iskandar.
Olga shook her head. 'Just what we needed. Another problematic Servant after Archer!'
"Well, he's a honest Servant at least," Keiji said, breaking the silence. It was rare for such an open Servant, allowing his True Name to be revealed. A greater way to defeat him opened up even more, yet Iskandar was bold and proud about it.
"Of course! Why would I hide my name for such petty rules?! I'm not the King of Conquerors if such trivialities hold me back!" His eyes drawn to the strongest one present. "Ooh, I can see a strength in your eyes. You understand the strength and life that comes from dominating those who stand in your way!"
Waver gulped, tugging on Iskandar's arm like a pup. "Rider!"
"Hard Servant, eh?" Keiji told the Master, who nodded. "Well, don't worry. There's nothing worth fighting me on. I'm not even here to fight for the Holy Grail."
Waver narrowed his eyes. "But the Command Seals and the Servant that you command."
Keiji waved it over. "It's a long story. There seems to be something wrong with this Holy Grail, but she's not even registered as part of this war, so you don't have to worry about us fighting. If you did want to fight, however, we'd just run away. It's not in our business to fight everyone we see," Keiji explained, seeing Waver sigh in relief. 'Huh, he's a bit like those them, isn't he?'
"Hmm, we won't be fighting. And after all the magical energy that was leaking. I suppose Archer took off with all the fun. Well, never mind. A king should sometimes listen this vassal. Still, this would be a great opportunity. How about it?! Don't you want to join under me and try rule the world together?!"
A bold statement to catch everyone pausing at it. There was no malicious intent, simply who Iskandar was as he called out to them with a giant smile, eager to welcome new soldiers in the hopes of conquering this world anew.
"King of Conquerors, I will have to refuse," Artoria said, shaking her head. Excalibur wasn't brandished with malice but it was still at the ready. This Holy Grail War was a mess, Iskandar was something they didn't know much about that. He could still be quite the threat. "Is that okay with you, Irisviel?" she asked.
The homunculus nodded. "Yes. I would prefer it."
Waver almost collapsed on the chariot, coming down with great relief while Iskandar shrugged his shoulders with a smirk. "I tried, but I shall try sometime if possible!" Iskandar remarked, his big hand almost sending Waver flying away.
"Rider! You and your big hands are too strong!" Waver complained, trying to prevent his eyes from leaking at the pouncing pain attacking his body.
Iskandar bent down to the short magus. "Hmm, you aren't crying, are you?" he asked.
"W-what?! Of course not! I'm not a baby!" Waver called out, now having an argument over a small matter while the others softened. It was a great interaction between the two, which had to end as Waver became aware of everyone reacting and hurried Iskandar to push on, but not before the King of Conquerors decided to rush along to find a new opponent, much to the complaining cries of Waver as Iskandar's laugh carried throughout the night.
