Fou barked away, basking in the sun. " Looks like the little kitty's happy to be outside again. Of course, I'm very happy, too... I'm at a loss for words!" Sanzang commented.

"Is it even a cat?" Bedivere asked Sanzang, but she had no defined response to give back.

"It was a long corridor, after all. Looks like the sandstorm died down, as well. Most likely because it was directly above the Atlas Institute. This region does not belong to the Sun King, after all."

Touta stopped amongst the rest of them walking forward to Ozymandias. "We don't have time to savour the moment. What a despicable man, to await us at the exit."

Silent like the lake, Lancelot stood in their way. The Knight of the Round Table was stoic as he made his intentions clear by opposing them in the first place. Arondight drawn and ready, his eyes going over every single opposition he might face, gauging their power. Coming onto the Shielder was the only time that Lancelot showed a different reaction he couldn't explain, one that felt personal.

"Your escape ends here. There is nowhere to run. Surrender. We have no more time to waste on you. If you choose to resist, then we will not hesitate to kill you."

Bedivere looked around to see a lot of the area was cut off from them. "Looks like he's serious. Please stand back. A failure of one of the Knights of the Round Table... must be dealt with by a knight..." Bedivere responded.

"Before you choose to be a hero again, Bedivere, it's better if you let a genius come through for a moment," Da Vinci said, making Bedivere pause as Da Vinci boldly stepped forward. "Do you know what the lance really is? What the Lion King is after?" she asked.

Lancelot looked up with confusion. "What?"

Seeing his ignorance, Bedivere stepped up. "The Holy City is no ideal city. That is the Tower at the Ends of the World. It gathers the most ideal humans, and places them in a cage... And when that is realized, this entire area will disappear. What the Lion King is doing goes beyond what humans must do."

They watched as Lancelot's blade dropped lower, Mash's shoulders relaxing at that. 'Even Sir Lancelot, someone close to the Round Table, wasn't notified.'

A gust of wind as Keiji's broadsword clashed with Lancelot's blade, the Divine Construct unable to push further as Keiji brushed him away. "After all of that, you still want to be like that?" Keiji rolling his eyes, really not able to deal with how much of a mess the Knights of the Round Table were. He would have told him it was why it crumbled down, but mental damage wasn't needed here.

"I did not expect you to know so much. I suppose that means those over there are privy to the same information? All the more reason I cannot let you escape. You would only spread fear where it is not needed."

Bedivere gasped like the wind was knocked out of him. "Lancelot, how could you...!? You knew of the sacred lance, yet you still serve the king!? Have you any idea what he intends to do?"

"Enough! We of the Round Table tolerate no disloyalty to the king! When the city has enough human souls, the doors to the Tower at the Ends of the World will open. This is what the Lion King announced as soon as he summoned us. And we decided to obey. Based on his ideals, we slaughtered the Crusaders... and decided to become enemies to all in this era. We have done this even knowing that what the king is doing is inhuman!"

Sanzang pulled her monk spade while growling slightly at him. "What an unreasonable fellow!" she rightfully complained, Touta fully agreeing as his bow was poised.

"Enough talk. If you wish to continue this debate, then you must put your life on the line—"

Too busy commanding them to fight and mostly focused on Bedivere, even with the angry shout towards him, it was too late for to stop it as he was sent flying, breaking the formation. The others wasting no time getting involved there as Touta released several arrows whilst Sanzang was capable of briefly cloning herself and using the many different weapons on her journey to take out the other knights.
