"Aren't we meant to be travelling to the north to reach Uruk, Enkidu?"

"The south is the territory of another goddess," the effeminate beauty explained.

"There's more than one goddess? Well, I understood there are multiple deities, but were they really hanging around every corner in the Age of Gods?" Keiji asked, narrowing his eyes as they continued following the path.

"Greeny!"

Enkidu looked to the grinning Kuro. "What is it? You can call me Enkidu."

"Well, are you a boy or girl? Not that I mind either, but it's hard to tell with you," Kuro questioned, both her nature and curiosity. A few others thinking the same thought, though without the mischief that usually plagued Kuro's every action.

"Kuro!"

"What, I'm curious?!" Kuro shot back at her 'sister'.

Miyu not being a part of it, though she would naturally take Illya's side if forced. 'Still... I can't tell as well. They might be neither.'

"Enkidu, what's the situation in Uruk? We tried to get there, but things didn't turn out well."

"It's not just Uruk you should be concerned about. After all, everywhere else is destroyed," Enkidu announced, an injection of winter running into the veins of the lesser experienced ones.

Yu thought back to the destroyed city. "So that city that we were in was just one of many. Do you have an idea how much is left?" Yu asked.

"80% of the population has been slaughtered. Uruk is where all the survivors are being held at. You see, it's not just the King of Mages and his followers that are the issue. There's the Three Goddess Alliance. A joint effort between three deities, they have already claimed 60% of the Mesopotamian land. We don't know their full objective, but the complete extinction of humanity is one of them."

"So things we've already dealt with before. Well, so long as none of them can nuke us all, then we should be okay," Yu commented, keeping the morale up high. The fatality was high, but that was before they had arrived; the point she was trying to make reaching them.

Olga rubbing her temples at the news, though a quick nod of respect was in order for how Yu handled that situation. As per usual, her eyes continued to flicker towards the magic girls. At first glance, no one could have been able to tell they went through their own trials.

"It's the callous lack of care gods have for humanity. It's rare that they'll show the type of love that can be called genuine with humans. Of course, they will claim the love they show is but a logical error stemming from contradictory domains and associations. The goddess Inanna is such."

"Inanna?" Illya repeated. 'Does that mean Rin's personality is like a goddess who can't admit her feelings?'

Enkidu went on further. How the goddesses use their own methods for destroying humanity, with the greatest of the three, the "Goddess of Demonic Beasts", being the source of the Demonic Beasts from earlier. Following while the clay creation explained, their horizons expanded with the size of the distant Northern Wall to the south.

"I've heard of rock-hard, but this takes it to a whole new level," Kuro muttered, all their eyes falling to the sight of the great stone barrier built. Their ears had to take note of Kuro's crude comments, but it didn't matter here.

"What is this?" Olga muttered.

"You can call it Absolute Demonic Front Babylonia," Enkidu clarified. "The great stone barrier built is the remnants of old Babylon. It's the largest and final line of defence that protects the last of humanity from the endless offspring of the Goddess of Demonic Beasts. Thousands of Demonic Beasts swarm the Wall day and night, the great fortress having held them off for six months already. Maybe a month longer."
