Arriving at the water source was a nice thing... what was unexpected, however... "I've stopped counting after 20," Mash commented, seeing the army of sphinxes casually present everywhere. It wouldn't be a problem for them, but it would be messy.

Da Vinci nodded. "By the way, I got a pretty good idea who's residing in that temple," she commented, a seemingly random comment from her. "Right now, I think it's best that we find an alternative way to get through this mess."

"Da Vinci, hold that thought, I can feel a similar energy lurking around. Seems like the Assassin from when we went to the other Fuyuki Grail War," Keiji commented, everyone moving to the source Keiji pointed out.

Opposition coming quickly put them on edge, finding several Servants already on their case. "Hmph, they caught on pretty fast! Sending soldiers after us, eh... How clever of you, Sun King. Those monsters won't dare to hurt us as long as we have the queen, but the humans are different. She has no influence over them. There's no time, get rid of them! But let one of them live! It will be a valuable source of intel!"

Which was already a big mistake. Whether they were unaware or not, the group of assassins were facing several Servants and a super Master. Still, it was their fault. "One of them has a bound woman, best to not go all out," Mash advised.

Any chance they had in fighting back against Chaldea was brutally rejected, an unfair contest from the fight. Not that they were focusing on it, but they should have been grateful that non-lethality was the option they imposed as the mask of the Servant was broken, staggering to her knees as the force alone surely brought her nose out of place.

"Ugh, my mask!"

"So it's just one of you, like I thought," Keiji commented, coming to understand they were Hassan of the Hundred Faces.

"This one lady with a shield is too strong! The design of that girl's armour... She's most likely from the Holy City—"

'Holy City?' was the mental note several of the Chaldean team took note of.

"The rest of you, fall back! We're up against Servants, you'll be easily killed...Or not...and just struck with the flat sides of their blades... Are you underestimating us? Mocking us? We of the mountain don't deserve your blades? ...Fine. Either way, this battle is ours as long as we still have our lives. Our current objective is to take the queen. Now that we have our prisoner, those cursed sphinxes—"

"Uh, about that... During our battle just now, that trickster over there.

Da Vinci smiled as she held the bound prisoner they bragged about. "Oh hello♪ But I'm not a trickster, I'm a genius. And one who doesn't miss any chances at that! I grabbed your prisoner while we fought."

"Who are you people! Do you work for Ozymandias!?" Hundred Personas barked the question even with the situation they were in.

Keiji didn't bother giving a response. "I more want to know why are you even kidnapping? And no, I don't work for Ozymandias, why would I?"

"I have a sitrep! The sphinxes are coming back! And some strange creatures wearing cloth are with them!" one of the hooded figures commented.

Hundred Face Hassan cursed as they put their mask on. "Idiot! They're Medjed! Don't look them in the eye, or you'll be cursed! Make sure you don't drop the supplies that you took! And the rest of you, we'll make sure to never let this go!"

"Shall we chase them, Master?" Raikou asked.

Keiji attempted to use a blast of wind, not that he would push it further. Only for no effect to come over them, even as the sandstorm persisted. "Hassan never waits when told to wait! Farewell, you slowpokes! Sandstorms are an everyday thing for us. We're protected by our wind-deflecting amulets!"
