"Speaking of which, Cedric, what's your family like?" Cedric looked away from the window and smiled. "They're the warm kind. You know, the type of people you'd never really forget." Lucas nodded, and leaned back in his seat. "My folks are weird. I've got a mom, a dad and an older sister. My sister is always out with her boyfriend, and My father was always working to pay the bills. The only person in my family I saw everyday was my mother."

Cedric nodded, "How old are you anyways? You seem a bit older than me." David laughed. "This kid is only three years old. Mr. Hope used that medicine to change him into a twenty year old..."

Lucas' eyes widened in shock. "Wow! That must be pretty rough. I'm only fifteen, been Mr. Hope's property since I was ten."

"You must be his newest Property. I remember when I was the new one. I had to live in his house for several mouths before being transferred into my new home. It's filled with other people Mr.Hope claimed as property."

"It's much nicer there. Everyone treats you like family. That's where I met Thomas! He seemed so lonely back then."

Thomas grunted, and placed his giant hand on Lucas' head. Lucas smiled. "See? He isn't much of a bad guy..."

Kai glanced over at Wendy. She seemed frustrated and upset. She was driving at a strong speed. "Wendy... slow down." Madam muttered. "I'm sorry... it's just... it's too quiet. Something is wrong."

At that moment, her heart dropped and her stomach sunk. "Wendy... They're here!"

Wendy's eyes widened from the view. A blue bus, speeding quickly, raced along with their car.

"Lieutenant!"  Jake looked up from the floor, and glanced over at the soldier sitting by the window. "Your wife!" His eyes widened, and he ran through the maze of soldiers sitting on the floor. Once his eyes met the car, tears swelled up in his face, and he immediately started to panic. If Hope's army wanted to play that way... He gripped the gun laying on the floor, and rolled the window down. "No! Stop it! If you shoot now... they'll find us! We will die!"

Hesitantly, he rolled the window up, and gripped the gun tightly. If that car tips over... everything and everyone he ever loved... would be gone, in a heartbeat.

General glanced up from his seat once he heard it. A loud sound of metal clashing into metal... then the sound of rock breaking underneath weight. He glanced over at the window, and started to cry from the sight. Kai's car... was gone.

It was Hope... he killed them! They fell down the cliff they were traveling on! Angry tears slipped out of his eyes, and plummeted down onto the floor. He couldn't imagine what Jake was feeling...

He couldn't possibly think about how much that hurt him. For once in Joseph's life he felt pity for Jake.

General gripped the bottle of Somnium in his hand, and held it close to his heart. Thinking over and over to himself... that she might have made it.

Her eyes widened in shock... the bus was coming too close. "Hold tight!" Wendy ordered. The bus was getting closer. It had gotten so close, that it seemed as if the drivers were just joking around. For a spare moment they were convinced that the driver was just losing control of the car... and that they wouldn't really have any issues.

Wendy gripped the steering wheel as tight as she could, but she still couldn't escape the bus. In frustration, Wendy let out a grunt, and stomped on the gas. "WHAT IS HE DOING?!"

Slowly, the tire tipped off the road. "Brace yourselves!"

Then, with a final push... the car fell down the cliff and into the canyon.

It all flashed in front of their eyes... it was as if they couldn't comprehend fast enough what was going on. Their stomachs dropped, and their hearts raced. Kai gripped Lily close to her heart... and closed her eyes shut. This was the end for them... she thought. Surely, we weren't going to survive this.
