"Should we go get them?" she shook her head. "They're too busy enjoying themselves."

The General looked over at the chair, noticing that the man was standing over a small desk, frowning when he looked at the screen. "Belle... We need to get Charlotte out of here right now."

"They might be in danger." He muttered. "What do you mean? She's got my brother by her side, she should be fine." He shook his head. "She's carrying a baby! If he shoots her..."

Her eyes widened, and they started to run towards the hallway. "Is it yours?"

        "No, but I wish."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"That is... it is mine right?" I looked at him funny. "What? Do you seriously think I would have slept with him?" He looked down at his hands for a spare moment. "I don't know. You two have been alone all along. I don't know what you've have or haven't done." I gritted my teeth.

"What is that supposed to mean?!" He frowned. "I'm just saying I don't know what the two of you have done." I clenched the sheets. "Do you seriously think I can even go and move on that fast?!"

"I don't know!" Pissed I threw the hair clip across the room against the wall. "You know what?! I think your just an idiot. I love you! But right now... as things are going... I rather be with him rather than with you!"

I felt tears fall out of my face. I looked up, and saw his shocked hurt face. I lifted my hand, and slapped him across his face. The tears started to drop down from my face, as my hand shook. The door clicked open, General and Belle walking in. Jake moved a hand over his cheek, feeling the burn and sting of my slap.

The General glanced back and forth looking at the two of us. He noticed my tears, and his hands  wiped them away. "Get her out of here."

        "But-"

        "Get her out of here!"

She nodded, and grabbed my hand. "Come on over here Miss Charlotte." She took me towards the door, and we exited.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"What did you do to her?" Jake looked down at the tile floor. "I didn't do anything." General gritted his teeth. "If it was nothing then she wouldn't be crying now would she?" He gripped his collar. "Now, what did you do to her!?"

"Nothing!" The General lifted his fist, and punched him in the stomach. Jake coughed, tying to take a breath. "What the hell?"

"I don't trust you. Your a dumb-ass. She cried for so long, and struggled for so long because you left! And you can't even hold your thoughts in?!

Jake looked up, a tear falling down his face. "You love her too... don't you?"

The General gritted his teeth, and punched him once more in the stomach before exiting the door.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Kai... you need to tell me what's going on." I dried my tears. "I-I didn't..." I started to cough madly, and she rushed over to pat my back.

Suddenly the door opened, and General stood before me. "We're done here. Let's just find Cedric and go."

He took me to his side, and walked back over to the main room, to be shocked.

The boy was sitting on a chair, chefs lining up in front of him, with platters of cake. "Cedric, it's time to go." Cedric looked up from his plate of cake, and muttered. "You added too much vanilla." And then rushed over to my side.

Belle grabbed the General's hand, and looked at him in the eyes. "Look. War is about to begin. We need the two of them." He sighed, and nodded. "Bring him along if you really have to."

She smiled, and went to go fetch him. He took me outside to wait. "Kai... if you need me... i'm right here." I felt myself slightly crying of the thought I'd be left alone again. "Kai?"

I looked up, and saw his concerned face. "General!" I wrapped my arms around his neck. "Don't leave me..."

"Please." Startled, his eyes widened, and then he placed his hands on my back. "I won't leave. I'll stay by your side as long as you need me."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Belle, walked out of the two doors, looking at the couple, and then shoving Jake back inside. "It might not be the time for this. Have you used the restroom?" He frowned, and shoved Belle out of way. When he walked outside, he saw the two hugging, her tears falling on his shirt. "Kai, is there something you need to tell me?"

She shook her head. "No... just let me stay like this for a while."

Jake lifted his hand, and punched the glass window. His sister looked at him surprised, and tried to restrict him. "stop!"

He wiggled out of her arms, and looked at his mad tears. "Don't  you love her?"

His mouth slightly opened enough for him to speak. "I love her very much."

She hugged him. "Then don't scare her."

"Don't make her feel like she's fell in love with another person. Don't make her feel alone when she's surrounded by the people she loves. If you truly love her... then leave her make up her mind."

A tear fell down his face. "It's just..."

"Jake...!" She struggled out of his arms, tears falling down her face. The man unbuckled his belt, grinning when he saw her crying face.

"I love her so much... yet everyone takes her away from me. That's my kid in her!" He gripped his hair in frustration.

"I feel like I've never even had her. I feel like I can never call her mine!"

His sister looked at his sad expression, and ran her fingers through his hair. "That's love...."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Thank you..." He held me close, feeling the tears falling onto his skin. "I'm sorry."

"For what?" He asked politely. "It feels like I've got you stuck in my own web of mess."

He chuckled. "I'm fine. Trust me." He held me close, and started to sway with me.

"I love you Kai."  I wish to hear those words again. The ones that made me feel like we'd be together forever, the ones that made me jump, laugh and smile. But... the way things are going...

"Kai, if you love him... shouldn't you be happier to see him? Shouldn't you be jumping with joy right now? Shoudn't you be smiling and laughing like the old you? Like how you'd laugh like it was your last day on Earth... Shouldn't you be with him?!"
