"There's no need to thank me." He said, picking up a spare pillow, and extra blanket to use on the couch. "I'll sleep on the couch."
Cedric walked in, yawning. "Come here, Cedric. Let's change you into your pajamas."
The General opened the closet pulling out a small pair for a child. "Here."
He took it, walking into the bathroom to change. "If you need help, call us in." I exclaimed before he shut the door. I went into the closet, and pulled out a night gown that was beautifully white. I changed into it, with the door shut, and then looked at the large sliding door in the family room. I opened it, and walked onto the porch.
"It's beautiful." I said gazing at the white moon hovering over the clouds. "It really is."
I looked over my shoulder to see Wendy. She smiled. "Something told me you might be here."
I chuckled. "What made you say that?"
Wendy looked at the moon. "Well, Jake does the same thing."
I chuckled. "Oh really?"

Jake moved his pillows, and moved his blankets onto a spare sofa. He looked up when he head laughing, and turned to the sliding door. He gently smiled. "If your happy, then I'm happy." he muttered. "Even if it means I won't be as happy."
Jake chuckled, and reached into his pocket, fishing out a box. He opened it, and smiled when he remembered what was inside. a beautiful wedding ring, the diamond in the middle gently shining.
After a mere second, he snapped it shut, and shoved it back into his pocket, tying to forget about it.
"Were you gonna ask Kai to marry you?" Cedric asked, looking Jake in the eyes. Jake slightly smiled, and looked at the boy. "Yes, I was."
"Why?" Jake smiled as he looked at the girl through the glass door. "Because I love her, and I want to stay with her for the rest of my life."
Cedric smiled. "Do me a favor Cedric." Jake leaned down, and whispered in his ear. "Promise me, when you find a person you really love, you won't let them go." Cedric gently smiled. "Okay!"
Jake smiled, and sent the boy off, where he went running off to the General.

"Speaking of which... what will you do now? You can't go in the war with a child."
I frowned when I noticed that she was right. "I know they need me, but I'm not going to give birth, and then leave him or her here."
Wendy nodded. "I see." She chuckled. "Jake was really excited when he knew he was going to become a father."
It went silent for a moment, and then she spoke. "I was excited. I'd be an aunt."
"But... if you don't want the child, then you can give him or her up."
My heart dropped from it's cage. A tear fell from my face. "I..."
Wendy turned to look at me. "What's wrong?"
I shook my head. "Nothing."
