"Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" I groaned and turned over. "Kai! Get up!" Cedric said, gently tugging on the sheets, in desperate need for me to get up. I could hear a gentle chuckle in the background as the extra weight was pulled off the bed. "Awww...." The child pouted, and soon the sound of the door shutting close filled the air.
"You know... we're going to be late if you stay in bed for another minute. The meet up is in ten minutes."
I sprung up from my bed and glanced at Jake who was now laughing. "Hurry it up will ya? I don't think I really want to show up late. And not even fashionably late at that."
I grabbed my dress, and grabbed my red bag.
"Your up..." General said, closing the bathroom door behind him. "Well aren't you fancy?" I stated, rushing into the bathroom to use the mirror. "I didn't want to look like a slob on my first day."
Jake straightened out his red tie, making sure it didn't look 'improper' while it laid on his white shirt. I could see the two men sitting in the room waiting for me to dress, through the mirror.
I slammed the door close as I stripped of my pajamas and replaced it with my dress.
The dress was nice and fitting, something that was stylish and comfortable for this long meeting. There I would have to listen and explain the story with Jake. The story... that's right. I have to explain to everyone in that room what happened to us while we were at the island and what happened to the both of us, including how we were treated among our return.
We also had to explain why we were going against Mr. Hope and why we decided to take charge of it now.
Jake also had to explain why I wouldn't be joining the army. People would think of it as a scandal, or an outrage for someone so powerful as I am to not come into the army. Truth was I couldn't. That was something everyone here had decided, including myself. It was too dangerous and too risky to be carrying a child and protecting everyone around me.
I slipped on my heels and walked out of the bathroom. Cedric and Wendy waved good morning, and sat on the brown sofa General slept in. "Kai we have someone you might want to meet. He's ans old buddy of mine that I've known since far back. Well, I guess I didn't have much a choice." Jake, opened the door and let the person in. "This is my twin brother Peter." Wendy said lazily.
"Hello. It's nice to meet you." He said lending out his hand. I gladly took it, and shook. "It's nice to finally meet you. I've heard a lot about you."
"About me...? You heard about me?" Peter asked, with teary eyes. "A celebrity knows about me?" Tears gently flowed down his face. "Gee... I don't know what to say." I looked at him curiously as I tried to think of something to say back to that.
I saw Wendy rise up from her seat, and walk over to Peter with a straight face. Once she was close enough, she raised her knee, and kicked him in the groin.
Peter instantly dropped to the floor and cried. Jake scratched the back of his head, clearly acting as if this was normal behavior. "What did I tell you about the 'celebrity' thing!?"
He groaned and gently looked up from his current position. "But Sis... she really is a celebrity. She's a legend."
Wendy growled, and steeped on her brother's back, pinning him down to the floor. "Don't be such a fool. Only you would do something that stupid to a person."
"Stop it!" he whined. "I don't want to represent myself with a shoe print on my back!"
"Well you should have thought of that before you decided to grow all wimp like!" Jake sighed and looked over at me to see my expression. He laughed, and walked around them to get to me. "Should I be concerned?" He shook his head, "Nah... it could have been worse."
