Your first week came to a close in the blink of an eye.

To commemorate it, Mitsuri invited you out to dinner with herself and some other colleagues.

"We've all known each other since high school!!" she explained as you logged off for the day and began gathering up your things.

You slipped on your jacket to comfort you from the winter air before making your way out the doors, the pink haired girl by your side.

"I think Sanemi will be driving," she told you before turning around in the opposite direction you were going in.

Your stomach growled in hunger, but in attempts to not ruin your appetite, you picked up some fruit and other snacks from the nearby supermarket to temporarily the empty void in your stomach

Your fingers tightly clutched onto the bag as you trudged along the path, greeting fellow restaurant owners and shopkeepers who had gotten used to your presence every morning and evening this week.

One of them even gifted you an entire loaf of freshly baked bread.

"Please, I insist," the man spoke, thrusting the loaf forward into your arms.

You graciously thanked him before arriving at your apartment complex.

As pretty as he was, you were actually hoping you didn't run into Giyuu again.

You feared it would be even more awkward.

But you couldn't waste time worrying about walking up five flights of stairs. Besides, the elevator was always available.

But unfortunately, it was still out of use, so the stairs it had to be.

After finally making it to the 5th floor, borderline out of breath, you scrambled in your pockets for the key.

You shoved it in the keyhole before turning it until it made a soft 'click' and the door opened by itself.

You placed the plastic bag down on the kitchen island before hanging up your jacket and slipping off your shoes.

There were still about 3 hours until you were getting picked up, but you could pratically hear the shower call your name.

You hadn't really met Sanemi properly, only heard a few things from Mitsuri and Shinobu.

Hopefully, he was nice.

-

"You stupid fuck get in the car it's freezing,"

Oh.

In order to not make Sanemi any more pissed you quickly got inside and slammed the door shut.

"Nice to meet you Sanemi," you introduced yourself calmly.

But he merely rolled his eyes in response.

You ended up sandwiched next to a man called Rengoku and then Mitsuri on the other side of him.

Obanai was sat in the passenger seat and Shinobu had plans to make her own way there.

You stayed silent majority of the car ride, the atmosphere of it unusally amusing.

Everytime Sanemi said something you had to fight the urge not to laugh.

Mitsuri and you eventually ended up giggling in the back seats as you scrolled through social media.

"Why the fuck are you lot giggling like a bunch of five year olds?"

"Don't talk to Kanroji like that." Obanai hissed.
