The second day of your weekend was a lot more chill than the first.

To an extent.

Some more of your furniture arrived, so of course you made it your mission to assemble it.

Thankfully, due to the power of instructions, it didn't take you long, and everything was put together and positioned in relevant parts of the apartment by the afternoon.

After a quick lunch, you decided to start putting away the mountain of new clothes that Tengen's credit card had purchased.

However, your activities were soon interrupted by a knock at the door.

Kneep deep in fabric, you frantically scrambled to open in time.

Giyuu was standing there.

In casual clothes.

With his hair down.

"Did you run a marathon?" he asked, noticing how you were slightly out of breath.

"No, I was putting away clothes,"

He raised an eyebrow.

"This is for you," he thrust his right hand forward, giving you a delicately designed envelope.

"Uh, thank you?"

And with not even a second thought, he walked off.

"Wait! Tomioka!"

He turned back around.

"I know what you're going to ask. What I've just handed you is an invitation to the launch party of the new fragrance I'm releasing,"

"Why?" you questioned.

"It's for work purposes. To help you with the article, you're most likely going to write,"

"Is there a dress code or anything?"

"I'll text you."

And so he left you.

With a million unanswered questions.

At least the invitation was pretty.

A white background with handpainted blue and gold patterns.

The company name was on the front, along with your own name, in a cursive.

You stuck it on your fridge before heading back to your room.

The day ended up being broken up by a midday nap. And you were in such a deep sleep that you didn't even hear the sound of your phone ringing.

Your hand slapped around your nightstand, and you squinted to see who was calling.

You forced yourself to answer it.

"Hello?"

"I've been outside your apartment for ten minutes."

"Shit, sorry I was asleep. I'm coming now,"

He hung up immediately after, and you scrambled out of bed, groggy and ever so slightly pissed.

You arrived at the door, almost tempted to leave him hanging.

But that was mean.

So, with a deep breath, you opened it.

"Sorry for waking you," he pressed his lips together in a thin line and leant against the doorway.

"Not a problem," you confirmed, despite the yawn threatening to escape your mouth.

"I have a dress for you,"

As if you needed any more clothes.

You stared at him with a blank expression.
