"Tengen?" You called out to your boss who was just a metre away from you.

"What's up?"

"Do you have the dates for Milan fashion week?"

Tengen appointed you as the official fashion correspondent and writer of the Entertainment District quite recently, and it had been nothing but a blessing.

It means more events, more glamour, and more Giyuu.

"I think they're in my office. Y/n hold on." he assured, disappearing for a few minutes before returning with a few pieces of paper.

"I would've emailed it to you, but I only got given a paper copy," he explained, handing the sheet to you.

"No worries." You smiled."Thank you,"

He nodded and reciprocated the smile before disappearing back to his office.

"Oooh," Mitsuri chirped, peeking over your shoulder.

"I'm so excited. Giyuu's taking me shopping for it today, actually,"

"We need to double date one day," she said, turning her head to catch a glimpse of Obanai.

"PLEASE OH MY GOD, I WOULD LOVE THAT."

"How is it going with Giyuu, by the way? It's been what, a month now?"

"It's going good. More than good. He's so good to me. I can't even put it into words." You gushed.

Mitsuri giggled. "I love you both so much. I'm so happy for you, Y/n," she hugged you tight.

"I love you MORE," you countered, returning the hug.

-

After work, Giyuu swung by your office to pick you up.

"Hey beautiful," he greeted, hands slipping into his pockets.

"Hi," you smiled.

"Ready to go?"

You nodded, and he opened the door of the car for you, allowing you to slump into the familiar leather.

-

"Have you eaten yet?" he asked, hands gripping the steering wheel.

"Yep. Tengen ordered pizza for the office because a lot of people were staying late,"

"I hope me stealing you isn't an issue?"

You chuckled softly before shaking your head. "No, it's fine. I think he was excited more than anything. Oh and and Mitsuri said me and you and her and Obanai should double date,"

Giyuu's face dropped.

"I don't think Obanai likes me very much..."

"Don't say that! I'm sure he at least tolerates you,"

He looked at you with a slightly blank expression.

"If you say so..." he muttered under his breath.

-

Soon after your conversation, Giyuu pulled up to an expensive looking shopping district.

"We have appointments with about six boutiques, is that enough?"

Your jaw dropped.

Six?

SIX?

"I thought we were only going into like one shop," you admitted.

Giyuu's hands slipped into his pockets as you walked towards the door of the first one.

Two gentlemen in suits opened the doors for you and greeted you with polite nods and greetings before directing you to the end of the room.
