"GOODMORNINGGGG," Mitsuri cheered as she danced into the office, holding a white paper box.
You raised an eyebrow at her antics and watched her head into a small kitchen in the place.
She returned empty-handed before clearing her throat to make an announcement.
"Guys, I bought a 25 pack of doughnuts this morning, so feel free to have one,"
A small applause arose, and Mitsuri smiled, cheeks turning the same colour as her hair.
"You're welcome!" she gushed before making her way over to you.
"Hey," you smiled as she sat down in the desk next to yours.
"Hi! How was the rest of your weekend after we hoarded you with clothes?"
A soft chuckle left your lips, and you leant back in your chair.
"It was good. I put together more furniture, and then Tomioka gave me an invitation to his launch party,"
"Really!? Oooh, that sounds like fun. I wish I could go,"
"I wish I could take you. He also said there's a dress being made for me, so he ended up taking my measurements,"
She tilted her head.
"That's...interesting? Did he ever show you the dress or...."
"Nope." You popped the P and rested your chin in your hand.
"He just said that his stylist insisted I have it,"
"That's nice, at least!" she took out a digital sketchbook and began doodling different designs.
And just as she did you so, an email pinged in your inbox.
Your eyes lit up, and you clicked to switch tabs before scanning the screen.
"Tomioka wants me at his office. Oh, and could you send me the current design ideas for the cover of the next issue and the layout for his section."
"Sure thing!" she smiled.
You quickly packed away your things and popped your head into Tengen's office.
"Hey, Y/n. Everything okay?"
"Yeah, Mr Tomioka has requested for me to go to the office for a few hours. I'm assuming to go over some things regarding next week's issue?"
"Alright, thank you for telling me. Remember to sign out before you go," he gave a friendly smile before you turned on your heel, back in the direction you came.
You approached the glass doors and turned to the sign out screen that sat on the wall.
After quickly searching your name, a small buzz echoed through your ears, and the doors opened.
You waited outside the building for the car that was supposed to pick you up. However, after almost 15 minutes, you were still waiting.
You checked your phone to see if anyone had sent you any messages about it, but nothing had come through.
And you didn't want to bother anyone, so, despite the icy temperatures, you decided to head to his office...
On foot.
In heels.
It wasn't awful.
But after a while, the cold air felt like a knife to your lungs.
You eventually approached the building, breathless.
You pressed the button of the intercom and was buzzed in with no hesitation.
