A quiet hush rang within the dampened tunnel, an eery chill spreading throughout the crowd as a dark figure entered the green, dimly lit space. A cloak fluttered around them, the only sound they produced being their boot steps which echoed along the walls. Curious and frightened gazes watched as the figure was handed their badge, the number 203 sprawled along the white surface. The crowd in one motion parted for them as they walked through the sea of bodies, the air turning tense when they stopped. Quiet murmurs then abounded when a man stood in the path of the figure, the expression adorning his face clearly screaming one of arrogance.

"Eh, who is this?" He sneered, raising his voice for the onlookers to hear. "Who do you think you are, huh? Think just because you look intimidatin' that everyone will bend to your whims? It'll take a lot more than that, buddy."

Silence lingered between the two, a shadow resting over the figure's cloaked face, hiding what they looked like. They didn't say anything, instead extending a bandages hand to reach into (F/C) mist that suddenly gathered before them. A scythe was pulled from the mist, the metal gleaming in the overhead lights, and before anyone could blink, the blade was swiftly pressed against the back of the man's neck, his eyes widening in terror at the fact whilst goosebumps scattered across his arms.

"I could easily kill you here," the figure's distorted voice was scratchy and low, almost machine-like, as they continued to stare down the man. "I suggest you don't provoke me."

Withdrawing the weapon, the figure then walked quietly over to a corner. The man fell to his knees, his face as pale as paper whilst he struggled to get his bearings. Whimpering slightly, he moved as far as he could away from the shadowy person, not even able to look up at them anymore. As people slowly started filing into the tunnel , everyone would occasionally glance at the figure, either making sure they hadn't moved, or to make sure they hadn't stalked too close. A boy sitting against the wall with a skateboard propped against him narrowed his blue eyes at the character, his curiosity soon getting the best of him.

"Hey," he spoke with a lift of his chin, addressing the mysterious figure.

"What?"

"What's your name?"

"Why should I tell you?"

"Because that's what you do when you meet people, right?" The boy smirked.

"...I'm known as Reaper."

"R-Reaper?" The boy froze at the mention of the person's name, his mouth hanging agape, soon enough a quiet limbo ascending over the room before shocked gasps and murmurs once again filled the silence.

"Did that boy say Reaper?"

"I thought he was a myth."

"He couldn't have."
