WHEN Reaper finally awoke, both her mind and body felt well rested. Running a hand through her tangled (H/C) locks, she frowned when seeing how dark it was outside.

"Did I really sleep that long?" She asked herself, her voice a softer and a more feminine pitch when not wearing her cloak.

Shrugging the thought off, Reaper dressed quickly after freshening herself up before exiting the room. Even before she had fully left the space, already she could feel a presence outside, lingering, as if waiting for her. Letting out a silent sigh, she turned to face Illumi who was leaning against the wall, his lanky frame still towering over her own even when not fully upright.

"What are you still doing here?" She inquired, her voice now masked by her Nen now that she once more had her cloak on.

"I could be asking you the same thing," Illumi responded as he pushed himself off the wall.

"I wanted to rest."

"That's an excuse."

"You sound so sure of yourself."

"Because I am never known to be wrong."

Reaper didn't say anything more even as Illumi now walked beside her, the two moving in sync, almost. It was enough to irritate her, albeit slightly, having a feeling just like Hisoka, Illumi would be a hard man to shake off. More so, he didn't seem like the type to take 'no' for an answer, regardless of whatever question was asked of him.

"Are Gon and the others really going to go after Killua?" She mentioned after a moment of silence, recalling the conversation the boy had with Illumi after the orientation.

"Yes," Illumi nodded. "Though I doubt they'll be able to make it to my home."

"Where is that?"

"Kukuroo Mountain."

"I see," she stated plainly.

"I'm also going home, however I stayed here to invite you to come along," Illumi announced next, and it was only when these words slipped past his lips did Reaper stop to stare at him, the man stopping as well and gazing at her quizzically. "Well, Reaper? What do you say?"

"Why are you asking me this?" She interrogated, her suspicions rising.

"I'm sure you've heard from Kil, but our family admires you," Illumi tilted his head. "Ever since Dynal, our family has restructured how they assassinate to fit in your image."

"Flattering," Reaper uttered coldly. "Yet, the legend known as 'Reaper' is a thousand years old. We are not the same."

"That is unlikely," Illumi shook his head as he laced his hands behind his back. "The power you displayed was that of someone who's trained for a long time—longer than a normal human lifespan, at least. You may claim that you are not Reaper and are merely borrowing the name, but I have a different theory. Why you keep lying is beyond me, though."
