"GON... what happened?" (Y/N) questioned the bedridden boy, a sheepish grin on his lips.

Killua and Wing did not share the same amusement as him, both glaring down at him with both worry and disappointment in their eyes that was very much not surprising. After Illumi's and Hisoka's surprise visit during the night, along with the dream that she had had, (Y/N) decided to distract herself by checking up on Killua and Gon only to find out that one of them was injured severely.

"Mr. Wing opened our aura nodes to help fight Gido, an Enhancer who uses spinning tops," Gon replied with a wave of his arms as he spoke. "When I stopped using Ten—"

"He only knows how to properly use Ten?" (Y/N) interrupted, shooting a glare Wing's way, something that he coughed at.

"I've only taught them the fundamentals so far," Wing began to explain as he pushed up his glasses, obviously not very keen on upsetting (Y/N) in any way. "But, we have not reached a point where that is applied to training. Gon, here, rescinded Ten to use Zetsu only to improve instead of staying alive."

The air around (Y/N) further chilled.

Both Gon and Wing looked nervous while Killua seemed mostly unfazed, his eyes somewhat softening at how worried (Y/N) did seem.

"Gon, I'm sure you've already heard this from your teacher, but I'm going to say it again," (Y/N) uttered, the shadow crossing her face only seeming to deepen to terrifying levels. "It is unwise to use Nen with no regard to your life since, along with the risk, it is dangerous. Someone with no care for that should never gain power, for they can do anything, to anyone, because they are unaffected by the consequences."

"But—" Gon tried to speak, but with a single raised hand, (Y/N) silenced him.

"What (L/N) is saying is right, Gon," Killua sighed, lacing his fingers together and resting them behind his head. "From your character, someone so lighthearted turning to something suicidal... I wouldn't want to see that."

"It would be wise to listen to Killua," (Y/N) continued, placing a light hand on Killua's head before just as quickly it was rescinded, the soft touch making his eyes widen. "He is a good friend, Gon, so make sure to keep him by your side."

"I will!" Gon grinned cheerfully.

Killua sighed, but smiled just the same.

Chatting with the three for only a few minutes more, she then excused herself so Gon could rest, missing the way Killua's eyes lingered on her, something akin to curiosity lingering in his gaze. After shutting the door gently behind her, she then turned down the multiple hallways to reach the front desk, eyeing the TV screen in front of her that displayed the fights and who would be participating in said fights. No one particularly caught her eye since all participants were ranked below her, therefore she deemed them not much worth her time. She did notice Garo's name rising in the listings, but his fight had already long since passed.

I suppose I'll register for a fight before spending the day out.

After completing her registration, having an hour to burn before her fight would begin, she exited the Arena and into the bustling city. Strolling past vendors and merchants all shouting at people to buy their merchandise, she folded her hands behind her back to wander the streets, buying a couple snacks here and there to satiate her appetite. Her attention was then snagged by a vendor selling rather high-priced weaponry and the like, something that would usually make her believe it was a scam, but from a quick glance over, she could tell each product was carefully crafted and produced. Intrigued, she stepped closer to further observe.

All of these are beautiful.

I don't normally use any other weapons but my scythe, but perhaps a dagger might be nice?

It would be good for certain... situations.

Contemplating between two daggers, one encrusted with blue jewels and the other with a simple black diamond, the latter more lightweight however the former more easier to handle, she slid her gaze to the side of her eyes when the feeling of someone watching her pricked at her senses. Then again, ever since she had first stepped out of the Arena, she knew that she was being followed. It didn't really matter to her as whoever was following her hadn't made a move to approach her, and she tended to avoid bloodshed when necessary, but she could feel that they were drifting closer.

They were growing bolder.

It almost made her mentally applaud their bravery—that, or their stupidity.

Balancing the two daggers in her hands, her eyes lidding from how perfectly the weight was distributed on either side to mold for a perfect weapon, she then abruptly turned on her heel to fling both at the one approaching her. Easily, he caught the two daggers, eyeing them with intrigue before his gaze snapped up to meet her, a knowing smile drawing across his lips. Dropping the two weapons, his boot steps heavy as he crept ever closer, he finally stopped right in front of her.

He looked the same as she remembered.

A bit different, though.

Older, too.

But, nonetheless sly.

His once tousled black hair was now slicked back to accentuate his pale skin and stormy grey eyes, his body which had once been skinny now better developed with muscles, clothed in a leather trench coat with a fur collar, unbuttoned and showcasing his toned core. What was most distinguishable about him was the grey cross imprinted onto his forehead along with a pair of globe-like, blue earrings he wore. Just like in her dream, he was the same as she remembered, yet different as well.

"I told you I'd find you," he proclaimed in a soft tone, his expression a calm mask while his eyes reflected his turbulent thoughts. "It's nice to see you again—properly, in the flesh—(Y/N)."

"Hello," (Y/N) greeted the man coldly, her (E/C) eyes sharpening into dark blades. "Chrollo."
