FOR someone who was known to be a master at the art of trickery and lies, Hisoka was surprised from how well Reaper was holding her own against him in his sudden suggestion of a game of poker. She had won with a straight flush to his straight, and he with a full house to her flush. Now, as she stared at the cards in her hands, she couldn't help but feel a  smile creep along her lips. Glancing up, she noticed Hisoka's eyes boring into hers, just seeming to wait for the perfect moment to catch her slip.

It seemed to him that the moment where he would finally rid himself of the urge to see what lay beyond the shadows of Reaper's hood was nearing, and from the way he threw his cards to the stone floor to show the faces of an ace, a king, a queen, a jack, and a ten, he assumed he had won.

"Royal flush," he smirked.

Reaper didn't say anything, instead merely gently setting her cards down so she could watch his very expression change.

"It seems that I've lost," Hisoka hummed, his eyes curving at the thought. "How unfortunate."

"Of course," Reaper lifted her chin. "The odds of having a wild card was high since in all of our previous dealings, it had not shown up even though there were two. I've won, so there is no need for you to involve yourself with me, isn't that correct?"

"You just keep surprising me," he replied, his velvety voice inching closer to her ear. "But I don't think I want to be anywhere but in your presence."

"...Back away."

"But what  if I don't want to?"

It was a mere moment, but it was all it took for Reaper's scythe to be swung around and encase his neck in its curved blade, the man practically able to feel the raw power pulsing from her figure while the mere thought alone incited a low moan from his lips. Reaper didn't react to such a sound, already knowing what kind of perverted desire Hisoka held for any form of power

"Oh, Reaper... aren't we moving a bit too fast~?" Hisoke groaned in delight, his golden eyes almost rolling back into his head whilst his pale cheeks flushed with pleasure.

"I suggest you listen to me or have your head sliced off where you stand," she threatened coldly, pushing the blade deeper into his flesh, a thin line of blood welling up to the surface. "Know your place, Hisoka.

Hisoka smile merely widened.

The other two men in the room looked upon the scene with wide, fear-filled eyes due to the menacing aura filling the room, daring not to move so as not to incite Reaper's malice. It wasn't until a light shone overhead and the last person they needed to pass through fell in that Reaper finally withdrew her scythe, Hisoka pouting from the loss of a good fight. Dusting himself off, the last applicant pulled on the watch after reading the screen.
