Back Together ~ pt 2

It had been a few months. It was actually July. Thursday 3rd July 2025. The day before our 1 year anniversary. We were still going incredibly strong. I knew Lando was planning something. I can always tell. We were cuddling up in the hotel bed and I finally spoke.

"our 1 year anniversary tomorrow... I can't believe it's been a whole year..." I said

"Well, it's been one hell of a ride, hasn't it, Lexi? One crazy year filled with laughter, love, and some unforgettable adventures"

"yeah... best year of my life..."

"I feel the same way, Lexi. You've brought so much joy into my life, and I can't imagine what it would be like without you. I love you, my beautiful girl"

"I love you too, my precious boy"

"Tomorrow's going to be special, Lexi. Just you wait and see. I have something planned that's going to make this day even more unforgettable"

"I can't wait... but for now I just want cuddles while we sleep"

"Cuddles, huh? Consider it done, my love. Tomorrow is going to be an amazing day, and I'm so happy to be spending it with you"

Friday 4th July 2025.

The next morning I woke up and saw the bedside table. Lando had bought me a bunch of roses for our 1 year

"Lan... my favourites..." I said. I was honestly gonna cry

"I wanted to make sure your morning was as special as you are, Lexi. Now come on, get ready for our special day. I have something else planned that I think you'll love"

"just remember to focus on your practice sessions too, baby. you've got 2 today so you need to focus on them too. we have time after the sessions to celebrate our 1 year anniversary"

"You're right, of course. Practice sessions are important, but I promise to give it my all and make you proud."

"come on, let's go down to the track and get these sessions done with"

"Sounds like a plan, my love. Let's make today unforgettable" he said. We went down to the track and we went straight to his driver room and cuddled until he finally had to put his race suit on and get ready for the practice sessions

"I just can't get over the fact that it's been a year... it doesn't feel like it's been a year"

"It's true, time really does fly when you're having fun. But I'm glad we've been having so much fun together, Lexi. Now let's go kick some ass out there on the track, shall we?"

"You'll do amazing" I said as I zipped up his race suit. "good luck, be careful, don't die, I love you"

"I love you too. I'll be careful, I promise. And don't worry, I'm not planning on dying anytime soon. Now go on, cheer me on from the stands, okay?"

"I'll be cheering right from this garage. although it's only practice so it won't matter too much what happens"

"Alright, alright. You don't have to tell me twice. Now go get yourself comfortable, and let me know when you're ready for some action" he said. He got in the car and I'm not even kidding when I say that the practice session ended and he literally smashed his lips onto mine and I had to drag him to his driver room while we were making out.

"obsessed with my lips or something?" I said as we finally pulled apart to catch our breaths

"I can't help it, Lexi. You're my good luck charm, and when I'm near you, everything just feels right" he said. I looked at him and I could see him bulge pressing against his race suit.
