"You nervous?" The brunette beside me inquired, continuing to do her eyeshadow.

I turned to her, glancing away from myself in the mirror, "Hell yeah," I chuckled slightly, "But we need to keep our composure if we want to find out what Esther wants to talk to you about."

Elena nodded her head, agreeing with me, when she suddenly turned to me with a sly smile on her face, "Do you think Klaus will pull anything?" She giggled.

I wrinkled my nose, unsure on how to answer such a question, "Well, he invited me for a reason. Maybe he wants to talk to me- like Esther with you?" I shrugged, my mouth pressing into a frown.

"Yeah," She dragged it out, "Dude has the hots for you, kinda freaky if you ask me." She started full blown laughing at me, noticing how my frown deepened even more with her words.

I shook my head in disbelief before turning to look at myself in the mirror. I wasn't wearing the baby-blue dress that Klaus has gifted me, because I didn't want it to boost his ego. Instead, I was wearing a silky red dress that reached the floor. It was tight-fitting in all the right places, making me feel amazing.

"Why aren't you wearing the dress that Klaus gave you?" The girl questioned. She thought that it was beautiful and it would be a waste not to wear, but I just couldn't force myself. Shuddering even thinking about where he got the dress from.

"I like this on me better." I joked, sending a wink her way.

She giggled, "Can't argue with that."

"I think I'm about to throw up." I muttered, getting ahold of Elena's forearm. She continued staring at the ginormous mansion that stood before us, not even bothering to reply to me.

I sighed, trying to calm down. All of a sudden, Elena started moving towards the Mikaelson mansion. I gulped, rolling my eyes at the fact that the human was less scared of being in a mansion full of original vampires than me.

Not exchanging a word, we quickly made our way to the grand entrance of the mansion. I let out a huge breath of air that felt like it was stuck in my throat, slowly suffocating me, before entering.

"Holy fuck." I whispered to the brunette girl beside me as we made our way inside.

The inside of the mansion was mesmerising, a huge chandelier hung proudly from the ceiling, making the hall feel even more grand. As I turned my head to look straight ahead of me, my eyes met with a bunch of people.

Me and Elena stood there quietly for a second before Damon and Stefan popped up, offering both of us a hand. I smiled at my younger brother, silently thanking him. "Let's go grab some champagne." He whispered, a delicate smile decorated his adorable face.

I nodded my head quickly, "You read my mind."

As we made our way to the bar, my eyes met Klaus's. Not wanting to indulge in any conversation with him, I just politely smiled, hoping this doesn't encourage him to talk to me.

"Have I mentioned how beautiful you look, Ali?" Stefan complimented me as he was handing me a glass of champagne, while we sat on some bar stools.

I turned to him, "Thank you, Stefan," I patted his forearm, "You look quite dashing yourself." He laughed at my compliment.

We spent around 30 minutes just chitchatting together, before he decided to go check up on Damon and Elena. I nodded in agreement, realising Damon has been left unsupervised for long enough.

As much as I loved my older brother, I wasn't stupid when it came to him and his way of living. He never shied away from getting whatever he wants, even if it means hurting someone.
