Male Terra's POV

With the snap of a finger,
Clay awakens the dragon patriarch,
and the Clamity King Grimoire piece has corrupted it into a demonicfied dragon waaaay before we got here.
Clay teleports and the dragon patriarch stand on his two feet,
roars at us,
reaches for us,
notices he is binded by demonic rune chains,
rips them off the support pillars,
and it's oil like skin combusts into a raging inferno!
"Miss, Mendez. You're drooling." Himiko says so casually like she's ignoring the threat in front of us.
"I am?"

Selena wipes her mouth and then talks to the twins out loud.
"Are you looking at the dragon Animal Skins like food?"
The dragon patriarch starts clawing. Punching and stomping at us,
but that did not deter the conversation at hand.
"We have enough self-restraint to not eat them, but we also can't help that we're staring at an all you can eat buffet." Chase's voice can be heard from Selena's body as her eyes turned red. "Apparently, they are dragon eaters, Himiko."

Selena says as her eyes turn to normal. Himiko dodges a breath attack and chucks six of her Holy Gospels and grazes its legs only for it to gush out flaming blood from its legs.
"We could just beat him, and if he dies and we can't save him, say my Demons went out of control, and I couldn't stop them in time."
Selena says so casually while the rest of us are fighting for our lives!
I shot the Grimoire piece,
causing the massive behemoth to flail an arm and chains around while covering its face with the other hand! "Ruuuuude!"

Sora says through Selena as me and Ventus grab chains bigger than our body, and with all our strength,
pulled back,
causing the dragon patriarch to trip and fall!
Everyone attacks its body as me and Ventus use magic based attacks while I am also hitting with the blunt end of the sword.
"I don't condone lying to the superior, but she does bring up a good point. We can't exactly stop them."
Selena stops mid fight to pat Himiko on the head or,
in their case,
pat her on the helmet sense everyone is wearing a helmet except for Selena,
who took hers off the first chance she got. "This is a betrayal!!! Slander!!!"
Sora yells.

The dragon patriarch gets back up and starts using the chains as whips,
but Ventus and I call upon aspects of our Familiars and use that demonic strength to knock the dragon patriarch over again.
Ventus speed blitzed him with Yuzuhara's speed,
and Jeffrey and I clobbered it with Alexander getting slashes or stabs in when he could.

"Alright, you two can have a few scales so long as you don't kill him."
Selena says,
and both Chase and Sora come out to tackle the dragon patriarch and start wrestling with it in which we all got back.

It put up one hell of a fight,
but the twins beat the Grimoire piece out of him along with the corruption.
I bagged the Grimoire piece along with the other fragments we collected,
and the dragon patriarch returned to normal,
and his original height of maybe 7 to 8 feet tall.
The twins sat on top of him,
munching on some scales like potato chips,
happy as can be.

Hours later,
the Dragon Animal Skins insisted we eat with them in order to celebrate the return of their patriarch and the humans that aided them.
Seth, Yuzuhara, and Zoey returned to us, and while we didn't exactly know what happened,
all we knew was that Seth was constantly saying he's sorry,
so that left Zoey and Yuzuhara to fill in the blanks.
So long story short,
the sword was affecting his thinking and deciding things for him in an attempt to convert him over to Clay's side and be more demonic like.

After we ate fresh games like deer and lizard shishkabob,
the Dragon Animal Skins insisted we stayed the night as well,
so we ended up staying, and all the dragons curled up and slept together on the floor,
so we had Seth and Zoey making sleeping bags and pillows for us,
but all while doing so,
Seth kept apologizing to Selena and looking away from her.
"We know, but we don't forgive you. Not after all you said. We..... we just can't right now."
