Artificial 7: Genesis Requiem

Chapter 28: Blooming Romance

Narration: 1 week after the mission in Regalia,
Seth paid the twins a visit,
got on his knuckles and knees,
head pressed to the floor,
and sincerely apologized for not noticing all the good they have done for him.
All the times, they backed him up despite never once asking for help. "Ok." The twins say,
prompting Seth to raise his head in confusion.
"Ok?" He asked.
"Yeah, ok. I forgive you, but only because I'm a parent, too, and I have better things to do than focus on being petty."

Chase bluntly replied,
and Sora just outright ignored Seth.
Seth gets up and martial arts bow to Chase out of respect for his answer,
then goes into the hallway,
where Zoey, Yuzuhara, Selena,
and Belladonna were debating where to put a dimensional door up.
That dimensional door will connect directly into Seth, Yuzuhara,
and Zoey's apartment/flat.
Once they found where they wanted it set up,
Seth and Zoey created the door and set up a spacial rune on the door.
Seth tested it out and ba boom!
The mansion now connects to the apartment/flat.

Back in the present day,
Seth and Selena take turns watching the baby and discussing what to name the baby as Azura Aqua wants to pass on the same name as herself,
and while Seth doesn't have much of a say in the matter at the time.
He has a say now. Seth and Selena,
after several days of co-parenting, agreed on the name Natalie Camila Thompson.
Seth fills out the legal paperwork,
and that is now Natalie's official name. As for how they co-parent?
Well,
Terra is contracted to both Seth and Zoey,
and really,
when there isn't a mission to be done,
he only needs one for patrols.

Zoey volunteers so that at least one parent can be with the baby at all times during the day,
and Morgan helps Seth and Belladonna by teaching them how to change a diaper.
Three months later,
Belladonna gives birth to Jackson.
Now that everyone is up to speed,
every once in a while,
Chase's kids want to help Belladonna and Seth out with their babies,
so Morgan also walks them through the same steps,
and Lily and Lilith love helping out.

The rest,
not so much when it came down to smelly diapers.
When their job was over for the day,
the whole squad always came to visit the babies.
Ventus and Male Terra,
in particular,
wanted to be the uncles of Natalie.
"Miss Selena, can Terra and I be the uncles of baby Natalie?"

Ventus asked so innocently.
"Sure, I don't mind."
Ventus and Male Terra pump their fist and take turns holding her while Chase went to Belladonna and sat with her, holding Jackson.
This went on for months,
and soon enough,
Selena and Seth began to share their lives together other than through co-parenting.

Selena would watch anime or horror movies with Seth, Zoey,
and Yuzuhara,
and in return,
Selena made Seth work out with her at the Exorcist gym.
We'll maybe not work out together,
but she made him work out,
and usually Ventus and Terra tagged along,
leaving Morgan in charge of babysitting.

Zoey, Yuzuhara, Selena,
and Sora generally worked out together, be it tred mill or lift weights,
whereas Chase stayed at home to take care of Belladonna,
his girls and the baby.
Seth, Terra, and Ventus,
though,
lifted purely weights or played Racquetball in the indoor court to the left of the gym.
Every once in a while,
though,
Selena will get a mischievous streak in her as the twins do affect her mentally with her contract.

She gets their powers,
abilities,
and aid,
and they try to tempt her with becoming a Demon.
They get to see her memories and mess with her dreams in exchange for all the power they give her.
Anyway,
so Selena has a mischievous streak in her every once in a blue moon,
and part of it is her own personality,
and the other part of it is thanks to the twin's influence on her mind.
