Artificial 7: Genesis Requiem

Chapter 24: Modern Day Buddha

Narration: Day 1 of 2 week vacation. Mostly,
everyone made online reports and sent them to the Pope.
The only person that didn't was Reed, who was busy self induldging at the beach and looking at the woman as he got a tan.
After everyone else had breakfast, Alexander, Male Terra,
and the squad made plans to do group activities together and do individual stuff in the evening.
Seth, Zoey, and Yuzuhara got with Alexander to tell him they'll be doing stuff on the opposite end to kinda avoid everyone and let them have some space.

The larger group went to the stores, bought necessary beach stuff like an umbrella, sunscreen,
shades, a volleyball, soccer ball, and a football.
Male Terre bought one of those ping pong and paddle sets you se used at the beach,
and then they all rented the volleyball spot for a few hours.
On the other side of the beach in town, Seth, Zoey, and Yuzuhara hit the ferris wheel,
took lots of photos on their phones, and while Seth looked happy in each of those photos,
even in the ones with Yuzuhara or Zoey, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
Seth's eyes gave away his sadness and guilt.

After the ferris wheel, they hit the ice cream parlor,
where they sat down down and had a little ice cream date.
Back to the larger crew.
Sense someone needs to monitor Azura at all times,
Himiko initially took it upon herself to watch over her.
"Why don't you go have fun?"
Selena says to Himiko.
"I would, but I'm a bit out of my element here. I am in a situation where combat is not needed, and training isn't required." Himiko replied.
"Ah. Well, in that case, go with one of the twins. I can stay here and watch Azura for you while you have fun."

Himiko is hesitant but agrees to it, causing Sora to take Himiko's hand,
go into town,
and they took Lily and her sister with them while Chase, Caleb,
and Selena watched Azura who was being silent and a bitch the whole time. Sora and her nieces strolled with Himiko into town,
who is still wearing her uniform,
so you have 5 girls walking in normal clothes,
then ya got the one samurai trailing behind them.

Himiko looks at Sora's hand and,
like a child,
holding their parent or siblings hand, reaches out for Sora and holds her hand and lightly grips it,
causing Sora to look down and see Himiko holding her hand.
Sora tightens her grip on Himiko's hand out of comfort,
like a big sister,
protecting their little sister.
"S-Sora san. Do you mind if we went to a clothing store? I'm not wearing a bra underneath this, and people are staring at our chests."
Himiko sheepishly asked.
Sora deploys her threatening aura, surounding the street they walk with her dense silver light blue aura and intimates everyone looking at them.

"Sure. I don't wear a bra either and got my own fair share of lectures and stares, too, so we're in the same boat."
Sora comforted Himiko.
"You two don't wear bras?!"
Lily and her sisters said,
causing them to take Sora and Himiko by the hand and direct them to the nearest clothing store or mall.
Back with Chase, Caleb and Selena. "Caleb, right?"
Chase asked to confirm his future son's name.
"Yes, dad?"
He responds.
"Let's find somewhere where we can train."

Chase bluntly says.
"N-No th-th-thank you dad. I'm good. I'm not a fighter."
Caleb politely declines.
"Ok, well, at the very least, I want you to know how to defend yourself, so come on."
Chase grabs Caleb's hand and while trying to be gentle,
drag Caleb to come with him,
and Selena just minded her own business while Azura watched tv in one of the outdoor restaurants.
Somewhere far,
far away on some islands where no one can watch.

Chase takes his fighting stance,
and Caleb keeps insisting he doesn't want to spar.
"Ok then, what kind of fighter do you want to be Caleb?"
Caleb throws up a lousy guard,
piss poor stance,
and his hands are more stationed like he's begging to surrender.

"You know that show with the multi colored people in skin-tight uniforms? The one where the leader's in red,
then you got blue, green, yellow, pink, and white. They fight monsters, and they are super size after being defeated, then the heros summon a mech to fight the super sized monsters. I want to be able to cut flips like them. Use guns, swords, knives, and martial arts."
