Chapter 56: A New Life

Narration: The day after Terra's abduction,
for the whole week,
Seth and the Artificial race stopped killing the enemy army and just broke their guns on a good day and their bones on a bad day.
Just anything to kill the time,
honestly.
Seth noticed Terra was nowhere to be seen,
so he kept his eyes peeled for a week. At the end of the week,
on the day the twins said they'd destory military gun factories and bases,
they roped Selena into sitting on a plastic lawn chair,
waiting to be nuked.
"If I die, I'm going to haunt you both for the rest of your life."

Selena says half sarcastically,
half serious.
"We'd have it no other way."
The twins replied.
(If Selena dies, Seth will make heads roll. Let's make everyone think they're going to get nuked, then stop it last second!) The twins thought,
and shortly afterward,
every missile,
nuke,
and hydrogen bomb was in eye sight. "That's a lot."
Selena says, somewhat uncomfortable.
(I guess I'll lay down and die then.) Selena accepts her fate rather easily but has high faith that the twins will stop it.

The missiles,
nukes,
and hydrogen bombs get uncomfortably close to the three before the twins used telekinesis to stop all of it,
turn it around, and send them to space. The Artificial race cheered,
and while Seth knew the twins would stop everything,
there's still that human way of thinking, fearing for Selena's safety.
After that,
the twins got a hold of the news again and told them they made good on their promises,
so now humanity has to make good on theirs,
and they will stop going to war against the Demons.

Humanity did not reply back,
and Seth and his crew were left alone.
A year later,
Pope Rekture and Shimura declared Terra and Ventus's MIA,
a KIA.
Seth was saddened by the news as scouts did the best they could,
and even though this weighed hard on Seth, he didn't shut down. Instead, he pushed on with life and continued to work through the hard times and continued raising Natalie with Selena for 9 years. Seth also grew closer with his son Anton and often hanged out with him and did stuff he liked.
While Selena did hang out with them off and on for those 9 years,
the twins disappeared on occasion for a few days,
to weeks,
to months,
and not say a word.

There were lots of times when they were just in a trance like state and just didn't hear anything.
So in all the time the twins were away, Selena either hanged out with Seth, Natalie,
and Anton,
or she helped Morgan raise her baby.
In the 9 years Terra was abducted, Eraqus Woods had Terra moved to a science facility in Regalia,
where Rufus's scientists conducted experiments on Ventus and Terra.

Eventually, without Eraqus Woods's knowing,
one of his employees who hates his bloody guts decided to give Ventus and Terra an extra dosage of Super Soldier serum,
shortening their already short lifespan. Ventus already rejected the serum once, despite having super human strength, speed, and durability,
so it was only natural that his body would reject it again.
Causing him to fall into a coma like state, and the pieces of Genesis's soul that were given to Ventus in the previous expirment,
just reshattered all over again,
meaning even if Ventus does come out of his coma,
he won't be the same person,
and even then.

Even by some miracle,
he wouldn't be the same for long. Terra, on the hand,
was receptive to the serum,
and his already monstrous strength, speed,
and durability tripled.
But now he'll be lucky if he sees 36 to 40 at best.

With the massive time skip,
in the year 2031,
Seth is now 35 years old,
Selena is 38 years old,
Natalie is now 15 years old,
the twins are 36 to 37 years old,
as all they've stated were that they were one or two years older than Seth. Female Terra is a year or two older than the twins. Putting her at age 37 to 38. Himiko is now 31 years old,
Shimura is 69 years old,
and Alexander's squad is in their 30s as well.
Meanwhile,
in the present day,
9 years sense Terra's abduction.
