Artificial 7: Genesis Requiem

Chapter 25: When They're Needed Most

Narration: Shortly after leaving the mall, when no cars or people were around, Sora sat Himiko down at the bus stop and saw that she was on the verge of tears, so she gave Himiko the okay to sob into her if she has to.
"I can't. I-If do...... then the hibernating Demon souls in my body will awaken..... and, and m-my body will."
Sora brings Himiko in for a bear hug, and Sora affectionately rubs her cheeks with Himiko.
"It's ok. I'm here for you. They're here for you."

Sora says soothingly,
bringing Himko back into a hug only to feel a slight puncture in her stomach as she looks down to see an awakened crystallized soul,
taking the form of a sword that pierced through Himiko's stomach in a none vital spot and punctured Sora's stomach. Sora just smiles as she hugs Himiko tighter as Sora wraps her demonic energy around Himiko's body, suppressing the other Demon souls and absorbing the demonic sword into her own body.

Other crystallized souls waken in response to the one missing one,
and Sora absorbs well over a hundred of them into her and for the first time in nearly 10 years.
Himiko cried.
The Modern Buddha feels once again for a short period of time.
Lily and her sisters all embrace Himiko as well,
with Sora and Himiko hugs them all back as well.
The next scene opens with day 2 of the 2 week vacation.
Azura watches tv in her room with Kenneth and Elain as her baby siters for today,
while the twins, Selena, Alexander, Female Terra,
and Chase's future kids,
just had fun in the city,
just doing whatever.

Everyone else,
though,
was deciding on what to do for today.
In the end,
they all mutually agreed to have some fun in the city rather than on the beach this time.
"I think we should invite Seth, Yuzuhara, and Zoey to come with us."
Male Terra speaks up,
causing everyone to look at him.
Reed frowns at this but tries to be the voice of reason.
"Dude, he went all nutso when he lost a fight to some schmuck then attacked one of our bosses."
Everyone looks at Reed,
some approving what he says.
Others visibly disagree with their facial expression.

"Did you not see that he wasn't himself when he had the giant sword? From what I saw, Seth was hesitant to fight Selena, and that sword started popping electricity around his head, then Seth responded in anger. If you want something to blame, blame the cursed sword, dude."
Terra rebuttals with his own logic and reasoning.

"That's no different than saying you didn't kill anyone, the gun did!"
Reed fires back,
causing Male Terra to sigh and pinch his nose.
"Clearly, we won't agree on this, so I'm going to hang out with him sense none of you will."
Terra walks away from the hotel restaurant,
leaving almost everyone to look at each other.

"I may be naive, but I at least have it in me to give everyone a second chance." Ventus says kinda coldly then walks after Terra.
"I agree with Verona kun."
(Translation for a junior coworker, young boys, and friends) Himiko takes her leave as well and thanked everyone for showing her how to pay for her bill and then left.
"Sorry, partner, but this is the only time we've disagreed on something."
Jeffrey gets up and walks as well, leaving behind a tip.
"Not you too, Jeff?!"
Reed begged.

"Though I do see where you're coming from, cursed swords do exist."
Sortelina Glacia leaves the table as well, tipping handsomely at that,
leaving Maddie and Reed.
"Looks like it's just us. C'mon, let's get going."
Reed and Maddie paid for their breakfast at the exit and then left to do their own thing.
Meanwhile,
everyone else who walked away from Reed knocked on Seth, Zoey,
and Yuzuhara's hotel room,
causing Zoey to open it.

"Hi. Let's hang out."
Terra and Ventus say with a smile.
The scene cuts away from them,
and we scene transition to the twins and Female Terra,
who took everyone to an amusement park,
road a bunch of rides,
gave the quintuplets money to play in the arcades,
saw a couple of plays happening in the park's theater,
then took to the beach.
The twins and Female Terra took Selena, the kids,
and Alexander's squad to the same island yesterday that Chase took Caleb to.
