Artificial 7: Genesis Requiem

Chapter 26: Karaoke

Narration: "You know what?! Fine! Let's hang out with him!"
Reed follows after Maddie and joins Seth and the gang except his siblings, Alexander, Female Terra,
and the rest.
After breakfast,
Seth and the gang hit the water park since it's summer all year round in Regalia,
then they hit the go cart tracks at one of the amusement parks, and finally,
late in the evening,
everyone went to an outdoor karaoke bar that was being held on a big porch with good roofing like the ones you'd see up in Nashville, Tennessee,
in Dolly Wood.

Seth and the gang crossed the crosswalks,
and right before they made it in,
Seth saw Selena by herself,
wearing a dark blue bikini and her hair in a ponytail.
Seth's happy expression drops as he makes eye contact for a bit,
then quickly looks away as his eyes reflect his sadness and guilt.
Seth kept on walking and trudged up the stairs to the karaoke bar,
as Selena minded her own business and hit the beach before the sunset.

Seth goes back to being happier and gets to know Maddie and Reed over drinks while people start taking turns singing. Seth and Maddie bonded over shitry childhood and how Maddie had an abusive older brother and a shitty mother who she would call,
the physical embodiment of rage,
then she was adopted by her ex-boyfriend's family,
not literally,
but they claimed her,
then some Demons killed them,
just literally broke in through the roof one day and described them as ginormous and ate everyone,
scaring the poor girl.

Then she was homeless for a few days as she laid low from her mother and brother.
Lastly, Pope Rekture found her and enrolled her into the London Academy and gave her a home when no one else would.
Reed, on the other hand,
was a different story.
Reed was a fun-loving,
combat addicted martial artist.
He comes from 7 generations of lightning mages and only recently has his family blended into the Exorcist.

His parents and grandparents were exorcist,
and that's how he became one. Underneath his cockyness and arrogant persona,
he has a soft spot for the little guys that are less fortunate.
A big softie.
Jeffrey gets up and takes his turn,
and with how deep his voice is,
the man could sing base,
so naturally.
He picked a song with a deep vocal.

Everyone partied,
drinked,
ordered food,
and just tapped or clapped to beat of the tunes.
Two hours later,
Selena dried herself off,
and her mind went back to the karaoke bar and diner.
Sense Alexander and Female Terra was hanging out with them while also keeping an eye on Azura,
Selena and the twins decided to hang out with the team even though the twins were still upset with Seth.
Yes,
they are that petty and hold a grudge for a long time.

When Selena made it to the bar,
she was there just in time to hear Seth sing Jason Gray: Remind Me Who I Am with Male Terra being his backup and playing a country guitar.
The song starts off with Terra strumming the guitar,
and instantly,
he has the crowd tapping their feet and clapping.

Selena and the twins sit at the table behind Ventus and Terra's spots and say hi to Ventus, to which he said hi back enthusiastically.
Seth grabs the mic and clothes his eyes to help him concentrate,
then begins to sing one of the most saddest songs of 2011.
Seth could sing base and tenor,
and this song was an excellent combination of both.

After Seth finished,
next up was Terra,
and he selected Alesso and Marshmallow: Chasing Stars.
It's also a sad song,
but the beat picked up,
and before long,
Terra had the audience clapping as he sung.
The man could really sing,
and the audience was eating it up! Straight up vibing with it.
"Hey dad, who's the hottie?" Lilith asks. "That's Terra Woods, aunt Selena's subordinate."

Chase replied.
Lilith listens in more and loses herself to the melody of the tune,
whereas Terra is losing himself in his imagination.
From holding hands with AJ Carter to watching the stars with her out in the country.
Terra backs away from the mic as he finishes the song,
and the crowd starts clapping with a few whistles. Someone else takes the stage as Terra returns to his table as Ventus gushes over how awesome a singer Terra and Seth are,
and Lilith also gushes over Terra,
calling him hot, and he's just looking at her confused.
