Artificial 7: Genesis Requiem

Chapter 45: Overcoming Fear

Narration: We open the chapter with Selena sword and gun fighting Genesis. Genesis would fire the occasional bullet, and Selena either dodged right as he fired or used Sora's power to make an ice pillar.
Selena took advantage of Genesis's reload time and used that to force him into a sword fight.

Genesis uses Excalibur like a rapier for either thrusting or slashing with the tip of the blade,
whereas Selena used a mixture of kendo, kenjutsu,
and asayama ichin-ryu,
which is the basic fundamentals and usage of all samurai sword martial arts. (Selena, some of Genesis's goons have broken into the mansion, I'll be a bit catching up to you.)

Chase telepathically talks to Selena since his soul is bound to her body.
(Go! Sis, I need you!)
Selena responds and calls out Sora.
Sora emerges from Selena's body and gut punches Genesis in the stomach hard enough to make him spit up some saliva, then pummeled him so badly,
he didn't have time to take shots,
stabs or slashes at Sora,
and the few he did,
well, she just healed way too quickly. Excalibur did cause her to heal slower with the few slashes and stabs Genesis made,
but she still heald way too fast for it to amount to anything.

Genesis throws Excalibur into his pocket dimension right as Sora punches a hole through his chest and out his back, preventing anyone from ever obtaining the famed Excalibur. 
Sora retracts her hand through his chest, and right as Genesis goes to cast a healing spell,
Selena puts a bullet in his skull, effectively killing the clone,
all while Ventus sees the tail end of the fight and is put into a difficult situation.

Save innocent people who are being attacked Genesis clones or help Selena fight Genesis.
Ventus grits his teeth and chases after the Genesis clones to save the civilians.
"SELENA! I'M TRUSTING YOU'LL MAKE IT BACK TO ME!"
Roght as Ventus yelled that,
he saw Sora come out to pummel Genesis.
(Yeah, she's got this.)

Caleb's POV:

Three men that Aunt Selena talks about on occasion crash through the ceiling, getting the attention of my siblings. Natalie screamed and cried while Jackson growled at Elias, Gram,
and some other guy with long red spikey hair,
a white trench coat,
and abbs showing.

I have a brief flashback of Aunt Selena showing me her folder of these people and for the life of me.
I can't remember what the third guys name was.
I think it was Weiss or Weissal?
It was something like that anyway.
I pull Jackson and Natalie into me, hugging them for dear life as Gram and Akiza turn into bolts of electricity as they fight all over the living room and down the halls.

Elias keeps my sisters at bay with his lever action rifel and handgun while also toying with them and Nero if they got too close.
Just straight up going all gunfu on them! Gram sends Akiza flying into the wall from the hallway,
then he runs at her with his lightning speed and injects three different shots into her chest,
causing her to grab him,
and he punched her,
causing Akiza's head to go limp! Whether it was those shots or Gram's fist that caused her to get knocked out,
I don't know,
but now Nero and my sister have three problems now.

Nero pulls out his gun and has a shootout with Elias,
and I threw myself, Natalie,
and Jackson to the ground with me as bullets filled the couch and the walls!
I heard my sisters fighting Gram as the six of them were grunting and,
on occasion,
the few busts of electricity while Nero dealt with Elias the the guy with odachi gunblades!

I heard sword clanging,
guns fired,
and the sound of the fist meeting flesh as the fight lasted for probably a few minutes. Once everything went quiet,
I peaked to the side of the couch and saw Elias on the floor,
bleeding from his chest and head area, my sisters all on the ground knocked out with sever bruising,
and the third guy with the odaci gunblades dead with Nero's sword stuck in his chest and lodged into the wall. Nero passed out by the wall,
and Gram threw the rubble of the ceilings off him!

I whispered for Jackson to take Natalie and run to a different part of the house and that I'd cause a distraction.
I came out from behind the couch,
and Jackson grabbed Natalie and ran into the hallway.
Gram was breathing heavy and had bruises on his face and neck regin. "There's....... one more? You brats are starting to piss me off. Once I'm through with you....... that brown haird girl is Genesis's problem."
I glared him down and threw off my favorite bright yellow hoodie,
showing off my own well toned body my dad contioned me to have.
I'll die before this human gets my siblings!

"Being a tough guy won't mean shit if you don't have the skills to back it up! RAAAAAAGH!"
Gram charges at me,
but I blitzed him with a flurry of Golden Hellfire punches,
then followed up with Hellfire kicks!
I cartwheel kick Gram in the head,
then kick him in throat,
launch him into the wall,
cracking it heavily,
and finally,
I sandwich him between two giant Golden Hellfireballs and explode the wall!

Gram hits the pavement below into the court yard,
and I land on his stomach,
causing him to cough up some spit.
I do a deep inhale,
building as much oxygen as possible, then let out a Golden Hellfire Dragon breath attack!

I felt the ground give out and briefly saw rocks and tial fly in the brief flash of light.
When I was done and the smoke cleared, I apparently made a large hole in the ground.
All that was left of Gram were his legs that somehow didn't get reduced to ashes.

The rest of his body, though,
at least Genesis,
doesn't have to worry about burial or cremation because I did it for him.
I go back to the living room to check on my siblings and sisters.
My sisters were all conscious but couldn't move due to the fatigue and their own body hitting its limits.
Lilith called me over,
and I raised her up so that she could give me a hug.

She expressed how proud she was to see me grow into a man and even prouder that I stood up for myself in a life or death situation.
Once again,
she apologized for all the bullying she did to me,
for being jealous of me starting to train hard in a fun way,
and she thought I was going to surpass her.

For also that night,
she convinced Lily, Hanna,
and Iris to join her and beat up Anton. After that,
I just told her I was happy everyone was safe and I forgave her a long time ago. She smiled and said she knew,
but she still regrets it. Her smile dropped,
and she shoved me to the floor right as her eyes widened in horror,
and I saw a bullet bounce off her head! Lilith hits the ground with blood coming out of the side of her head!

I looked to the right and saw Elias leaning up with his rifel aimed at us, then going limp and hitting the floor. Dad lands through the ceiling the enemies came through!
He stands up and looks at the damages to the living room and then locks on to Elias,
and in a split second,
Elias is dangling by his neck even though dad doesn't look mad,
his actions say another as he looks Elias in the eyes before breaking his neck like a twig with a loud crunching noise!

Dad then takes his free hand and digs into Elias's chest,
removing this black wavey mist like thing and then slurping it up like a noodle.
After that, he asks us if we're all ok and then examines Lilith's wound.
"She'll be fine. The bullet grazed her head is all."
Chase wipes away the blood,
and I could see sis's wound stop bleeding and close shut.
Lilith will be out for a while.
I called Jackson and Natlie into the living room,
but I didn't hear anything.
I called them once again and got nothing,
which resulted in dad asking about them.

I got up and followed their scent to the bathroom only to see that a man in a purple Exorcist uniform with pitch black hair and red eyes had Natalie and Jackson!
It looked like he knocked them out,
and he looked pissed as he walked through a portal of darkness!
Dad and I lunged for him only for the portal to close on our hand and lap it off! Blood gushed from our arms all over the bathroom,
but dad remained calm as I wailed in agony.

Our healing factor kicks in and regenerates a new hand,
and dad sits me on the couch in the living room as Miss Belladonna and Miss Morgan come in horrified to the damages.
My sisters and I told them everything beginning to end,
and all I could do was watch the despair that filled the room.
