Journal Entry: Two Months Later
It's been two months since the big celebration at the tactical takedown arena, and things have been quite a whirlwind since then. Here's a rundown of what's been going on:
First up is Angelo and Orca, they had a rough patch recently. They didn't see each other for a week after a big fight. Apparently, Angelo was treating Orca more like a little kid needing protection rather than a capable girlfriend who's been living with him for months. Orca was understandably upset. She said she can handle herself and didn't appreciate being coddled. They had a heart-to-heart, worked things out, and now they're back to being happily together. It's great to see them reconnect and support each other again.
Terry and Jackie have also made significant strides in their relationship. Terry moved in with Jackie, and they're splitting rent and utilities right down the middle. Everyone is so proud of them. They're still taking things slow, but it's clear they're committed to making their relationship work. It's nice to see them growing closer, and it makes me think about how far we've all come.
On the airsoft front, things have been incredibly busy but rewarding. I've helped set up tournaments for the other leagues, and it's been quite the journey. We've now got a whole lineup of royalty from different airsoft sports. King Zarel of Rocket Rush, Queen Carrie of Goal Invasion, King Roman of Tower Siege League, and my personal favorite, Queen Ruby Rider III of Control Zone League. I even got to meet all of them. Queen Ruby Rider III is particularly interesting; she's funny and cool. I'd love to be her friend or at least an ally. We have a group chat for all the royals now. It's mostly for memes and random conversations, but it's also handy for organizing meetings and discussing game issues.
Calie and Marie have been killing it as Ironhaven's top idol group. Their schedule is packed with interviews, photoshoots, and even a movie cameo. I'm so proud of them. They've been working on a new song that they say I'll love. Knowing them, it's going to be fantastic. They've been doing great with Unity Clash events and their passion hasn't waned at all. The full moon nights between us have been as passionate and loving as ever. It's comforting to see their dedication and how happy they make each other.
Marina is about to turn 18, and she and Opal are gearing up for their idol debut as Dynamo Groove. They've signed with Coulture, which has created a bit of a mock rivalry between their new group and Out of the Blue. It's all in good fun, though. Even though Optimist isn't too happy about Dynamo Groove's rise, Calie and Marie are supportive of their friends and don't let it bother them. I admire their attitude—it's healthy to recognize that the spotlight doesn't last forever and to celebrate the successes of others.
Blaze and Wally, however, are where things get complicated. Wally's been leaving Kagayaki Industries the moment his shift ends, and he's been distant. He says it's family stuff, but I think we all know his parents are pushing him to stay away from Blaze and the rest of us. They've wanted him to leave Kagayaki Industries and end things with Blaze ever since the dragon hunters incident. It's hard to watch, knowing that Wally might eventually leave us, but what scares me most is how Blaze will handle it. She's been so strong and supportive, but I fear this could really hit her hard.
I've been writing all this down in my journal to keep track of everything. It helps me process what's going on with everyone and figure out how to support them. There's so much change, and while it's exciting, it's also a lot to manage.
Here's hoping that things settle down soon and that we can all navigate these challenges together. For now, it's a waiting game, and I'm holding on to the hope that everything will work out for the best.
I'll write some more at a later time
-Matsu
Matsu closed his journal with a deep sigh, feeling the weight of the past couple of months settling heavily on his shoulders. The office was silent, a stark contrast to the whirlwind of emotions and events he had been documenting. He needed a break, so he stood up from his desk and left his home office.
