The next morning, Matsu awoke with a pounding headache and a general sense of disorientation. He squinted at the bright sunlight streaming through the window, groaning as he pushed himself out of bed. He stumbled towards the bathroom, where he used his aura to alleviate the relentless throb in his head, hoping it would offer some respite.

As he ventured into the living room, he noticed Blaze curled up on the couch, still fast asleep. Her peaceful expression contrasted sharply with his own pounding headache. He hesitated for a moment, contemplating whether to wake her, but decided against it, opting instead to move quietly to the kitchen.

In the kitchen, Calie and Marie were already waiting for him, a spread of breakfast laid out on the table. The aroma of freshly cooked food mixed with the subtle scent of their perfumes, cutting through the fog of his hangover. Matsu took a deep breath, feeling a wave of gratitude wash over him.

"Morning," he mumbled, his voice hoarse. "Thanks for talking me out of drinking the whole bottle."

Calie and Marie exchanged knowing glances, their faces softening as they watched Matsu approach. Calie quickly took a plate and began serving him a hearty breakfast, while Marie poured him a glass of juice. Matsu took his first bite, savoring the taste and nodding appreciatively.

"This is amazing," he said, his eyes lighting up with genuine delight. "You two really outdid yourselves."

Calie and Marie beamed with pride at his compliment. They took turns kissing his cheeks, their affectionate gestures underscoring the warmth and care they had for him. But then, in a swift and synchronized move, both of them slapped the sides of his face with an unexpected force.

"Ow! What the—?" Matsu yelped, rubbing his stinging cheeks and looking at them in shock.

"Never do that again!" Calie and Marie shouted in unison, their voices full of exasperation and concern.

Matsu winced, the sting in his cheeks adding to his headache. He looked between the two, seeing the mixture of frustration and worry in their eyes. He could tell they were not just angry but deeply concerned for him.

"Okay, okay," he said, raising his hands in a gesture of surrender. "I get it. I messed up. I'm really sorry."

Marie sighed and leaned in, her tone softening. "We just don't want to see you hurt yourself like that. You're important to us, Matsu."

Calie nodded, her eyes sincere. "Yeah, and we need you to be okay. We're all in this together, and we need you at your best."

Matsu looked at both of them, his expression softening as he took in their words. He felt a deep sense of relief and appreciation for their care, even if their methods were a bit harsh.

"Thanks," he said quietly. "I promise I won't let this happen again. I'll find better ways to handle things."

Calie and Marie smiled, their expressions brightening. "Good," Marie said. "Now, eat up and let's talk about how we're going to support each other through all of this."

As Matsu dug into his breakfast, he felt a renewed sense of determination. The support of his friends was a powerful motivator, and he was ready to face the challenges ahead with their help.

After Matsu finished his breakfast, Marie collected his plate with practiced ease, while Calie handed him a small vial of hangover remedy. Matsu accepted it gratefully, downing the contents in one gulp, and leaned back in his chair as the cool liquid began to work its magic.

Calie and Marie exchanged glances, knowing it was time to address the pressing issue that had been weighing on everyone's minds. As the conversation shifted, Matsu's demeanor grew more serious.
