As the Mother Roc landed gracefully in the lush, expansive gardens of the Solstice Kingdom palace, Matsu, Calie, and Marie dismounted with a sense of anticipation. The serene beauty of the palace grounds, with its meticulously manicured lawns and vibrant flower beds, set a calming tone for their visit.

Just as they were taking in their surroundings, a burst of energy bounded towards them. Princess Emmy, a lively and enthusiastic eleven-year-old with a crown that seemed almost too large for her tiny head, came running with open arms.

"Matsu! Calie! Marie!" Emmy called out, her voice brimming with excitement. "You're here!"

The trio couldn't help but smile as Emmy threw her arms around them in a warm embrace. Matsu ruffled her hair affectionately, while Calie and Marie exchanged amused glances.

"We wouldn't miss it for the world," Matsu said, returning her hug. "It's great to see you, Emmy."

"I'm so glad you came!" Emmy beamed. "Come on, let's go inside. I want to show you all the new things we've been working on!"

As they walked towards the palace entrance, King Octaviano and Queen Olivia emerged from the palace, their regal presence commanding attention. Both wore warm smiles as they greeted their guests.

"It's a pleasure to see some young faces who aren't the palace guards," King Octaviano said with a chuckle, shaking hands with Matsu. "Welcome to the Solstice Kingdom."

Queen Olivia nodded in agreement, her eyes twinkling with kindness. "We're delighted to have you. We've heard so much about your recent endeavors."

With pleasantries exchanged, the group made their way into the grand interior of the palace. Emmy took charge, holding Calie and Marie's hands as she led them down ornate hallways decorated with golden tapestries and intricate artwork. Her excitement was palpable as she chattered about her plans for their visit.

As they reached a large, opulent room, the royal family seemed to remember something.

"Oh, we almost forgot!" Queen Olivia said, her face lighting up. "Emmy wanted to do something special."

Emmy tugged on her parents' sleeves, her eyes wide with anticipation. "We have to do the thing! The thing we talked about!"

Laughing softly, King Octaviano nodded. "Of course. We should get started."

Turning to Matsu, Calie, and Marie, Emmy said with a playful grin, "Alright, time for the ceremony!"

The three looked at each other, puzzled but intrigued. Emmy motioned for them to stand in a line. "You're going to love this!"

With a flourish, Emmy announced, "Welcome to the Solstice Kingdom, Matsudo Kagayaki, King of Tactical Takedown!"

Matsu blinked in surprise, his cheeks flushing with a hint of pink. "Oh, that really isn't necessary..."

Calie and Marie giggled, their amusement evident. "She's right, Matsu. Kings do have people bow in front of them, don't they?" Marie teased, trying to suppress her laughter.

Emmy's eyes sparkled with mischief. "Yes! Kings and queens get special treatment! It's tradition!"

Matsu sighed, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "I suppose you're right. I guess I am a king now."

As they all shared a light-hearted laugh, King Octaviano and Queen Olivia joined in, clearly enjoying the playful moment.

"Welcome, King Matsudo," King Octaviano said with a nod. "And thank you for visiting. We're honored to have you here."

"Indeed," Queen Olivia added warmly. "We hope you enjoy your time with us."

After the ceremonial welcome, Princess Emmy excitedly led Matsu, Calie, and Marie to her room. The palace's grand hallways gave way to a more personal, cozy space decorated with vibrant colors and whimsical patterns. Emmy's room was a delightful chaos of toys, art supplies, and various knick-knacks, each with its own story.
