Matsu's family decided to accompany him as he began to tackle the new responsibilities that had been laid out for him during the chancellor meeting. Although Matsu had been Chancellor of Weapons & Defense for three years already, the added weight of his new duties made it clear that this was going to be a challenge. His sisters knew that getting used to these new responsibilities was never easy, so they decided to offer their support by tagging along.

Their first stop was the Eclipsian Military Command Center, a massive and imposing structure at the heart of the city. The center was the hub of all military operations in Eclipsia, where everything from training to strategic planning took place. As Matsu led his sisters into the building, he felt the familiar tension settle in his shoulders. This place always demanded his full attention, and today would be no different.

"Alright," Matsu said as they entered the central operations room, his voice firm and focused. "This is where it all starts. We've got a lot to cover today, so let's get to it."

The operations room was buzzing with activity. Officers were moving between stations, data streams flickering on multiple screens, and the air was thick with the urgency of military precision. Matsu's presence was immediately acknowledged by the officers present, who saluted him as he passed by.

His sisters followed closely, observing everything with a mixture of curiosity and concern. They knew how demanding Matsu's role was, but seeing it up close was something else entirely.

"How do you manage all of this, Matsu?" Iyomei asked, her voice tinged with awe as she listened to the happenings around the room.

"One step at a time," Matsu replied, his tone serious. "It's a lot, but I've had to learn how to prioritize. Today, we're focusing on the training regimen, the weapons systems, promotions, complaints, and disciplinary actions. It's all part of keeping our military strong and effective."

Their first task was to review the training regimen. Matsu walked over to a large screen displaying the current training schedules and exercises. The training was rigorous, designed to push soldiers to their limits, but Matsu wanted to ensure it was also effective.

"Let's see... we need to make sure the soldiers are not only physically prepared but also mentally resilient. The exercises have to reflect real combat situations," Matsu said as he reviewed the regimen, making notes on areas that needed adjustment.

Yumiko, always the observant one, noticed some discrepancies in the schedules. "It looks like some units are being overworked, Matsu. That could lead to burnout."

Matsu nodded, quickly making the necessary changes. "Good catch, Yumi. We need our soldiers at their best, not exhausted. I'll adjust the schedules and ensure they get the necessary downtime."

Next, they moved on to weaponry. Matsu inspected the latest weapons being used by the soldiers, evaluating their effectiveness and ensuring they met the military's high standards. He had to make decisions about upgrades and maintenance, ensuring that the weapons were in top condition for any potential conflict.

"These look pretty advanced," Iyomei remarked, running her fingers along the sleek design of a new rifle. "How often do you have to update the weapons?"
"Constantly," Matsu replied, his voice heavy with responsibility. "Technology is always evolving, and we can't afford to fall behind. Our soldiers need the best equipment to defend our nation."

After that, they moved on to the promotion reviews. Matsu sifted through files of soldiers who were up for promotion, carefully considering their records, achievements, and potential. Each decision was crucial—promoting the right people could strengthen the military, while a wrong choice could lead to issues down the line.
