Chapter 6: Missing

Chapter 6:

A man in all black watched as the drug gave its’ effect, knocking the brunette unconscious. He took out his phone and contacted a guy who went by Castor.

“Castor” he spoke quietly.

“Yeah. I have her. I’ll bring her out now, watch for the law” he says and ends the call.

He looked at the girl in pity. He threw her over his shoulder and went out the window. He spotted the van from afar and quickly ran there. He puts her in the backseat with Pollux.

“All clear?” he asks.

 Pollux nods. From the corner of his eye, he could spot the blonde teenager the girl was with. For a minute he felt sorry but he quickly brushed away that feeling.

“Clear out now” he orders and Castor speeds out of the hill.

My eyes flutter open and all I see is the sky and the stars. I hadn’t realized that I’ve fallen asleep waiting for Katniss. I shot up to a sitting position and looked around me.

“Katniss?” I call out.

No answer.

I was starting to worry. I pulled out my phone and checked the time, it read 10:54.

I’ve been asleep for almost 2 hours???

I call Katniss to see where she is. Once again, there was no answer. I decide to check on the ladies restroom. I walk quickly, eager to see where she is.

“Kat?” I ask from the other side of the door.

I attempted to call her again. From here, I could hear the familiar tune of ‘Prelude’ from Next to Normal.

“Kat?” I call again.

I was debating in my mind. To enter or not?

What the hell.

I look around me and pushed open the door.

“Katniss?” I call out

I spot something glowing on the floor. It was her phone, still ringing with the song.

“Shit” I curse.

I ran out and looked around frantically for any guard, police officer or simply anyone who could help me. I ran around the whole area and found no one

Where the hell was everybody?

Police hotline! My mind decided to give me an idea.

Crap I don’t know their number. I call Glimmer instead.

“This better be important” she grumbles.

“Hell yes it is. Katniss is missing” I say.

“WHAT?!?” she screams into the phone. I had to move it away from my ear to avoid  hearing damage.

“Come down to the hill, you’ll see” I say.

“Here’s Clove” she says.

“What do you mean she’s missing? Peeta we’re in Australia! I-“ someone take the phone from her though I can still faintly hear her.

“We’ll be down there in a few. Stay safe” Gale says before hanging up. I sat on the grass again and screamed in frustration.

Katniss where are you?
