Chapter 16:
-Clove-
“Is there something wrong?” Effie asks, with her hands flying to her hair which was unfortunately, candy pink.
“N-no not at all” I say.
“Just surprised” Marvel adds and I nod in agreement.
“Well. It’s time for the tour!” she claps her hands together.
I shrug and follow Haymitch and Effie.
“Here we have entertainment all around. There’s a pool, indoor and outdoor, a game room. It also contains a lot of rooms which I think would suit you all just fine. Oh! And we have a huge amount of food. There’s recreation…”
I stopped listening to Effie as she pointed out rooms.
“How is it?” Effie asks with a massive grin.
“This would definitely suit us. Thank you so much for letting us stay” Marvel says and gives her a warm smile in return.
The others nod in agreement.
“I have here five cards” she hands them to Annie.
“Those are for the rooms. I’ll leave you to look around” she says and turns a corner with Haymitch following her.
“Who would’ve guessed, Haymitch and Effie” Peeta comments.
“Ugh. No.” Johanna answers.
“Roommate!” I yell and take Katniss’ arm.
“I’ll stay in one room” Johanna grins and plucks one card from Glim’s hand.
“Fine. Clove you go with Kat. I’ll stay with Annie, Boys?” Glimmer asks.
“Roomies!” Finn and Cato say in unison in a fake girlish tone. That earned them a slap from Annie.
“Yeah. I’ll go with Peeta” Marvel says.
“I have to room with Jo then…” Gale says mischievously.
“No you’re not. You’re staying with us!” Peeta says with a grin.
“Yes. That’s final” Glim gives him a look before handing her brother the key card.
We all go off to our rooms which weren’t that hard to find. It was just around the corner and our rooms were across each other.
“Bye” I wave at Marvel before shutting the door.
“Ah finally! A bed” Katniss says and takes the bed farthest from the door.
“This is my bed then, thanks for asking me which one I wanted” I say sarcastically.
She grins at me and I roll my eyes.
“I’m kidding I like this” I say patting my bed.
“Carry your own bags” Katniss says and tosses my bag at me.
“Wait till I toss my luggage at you” I say.
She raises an eyebrow.
“Whatever” I answer, suppressing a smile.
“Let’s go” I tell her, getting up from my bed.
“Where?” she groans
“To Johanna, She must be very lonely”
