Gulf tried to eat in peace, but someone in front of him just stared at him.

"Sir, if you're not hungry, please leave," Gulf said, biting into his food. He was shocked to see Kao and did not expect Kao to save him from the pervert.

The pervert quickly ran after seeing the glare from Kao. Gulf pulled away quickly and thanked Kao, wanting to leave as quickly as possible, but Kao did not allow that to happen. So, they both were eating in a restaurant.

"I wonder if I am hungry," Kao tilted his head, smiling at Gulf. He still had that menacing and mature aura.

"Whatever," Gulf said, just keeping eating his food, ignoring Kao at all costs.

Kao only started eating after a few minutes. They ate in silence and when they finished, Gulf wanted to pay, but Kao stopped him.

"Why are you avoiding me, Gulf?" Kao's tone suddenly became serious. Gulf sighed; he knew deep down that Kao needed an explanation for his sudden change of behavior.

"Sir, I know that you have been nice to me and I am grateful for what you did two years ago, but I want to be free from anything that relates to Ja. That includes you," Gulf explained, hoping Kao would leave him alone.

"That does not explain why you were cold to me. This only proves that Ja still has an impact on your life so you ran from it," Kao explained, furrowing his brow.

"No, he does not have an impact on my life anymore, but I want to be completely free from him. So, please, after this, act like you do not know me," Gulf turned away, but his wrist was held by Kao. Kao then looked at his wrist and the other wrist. He was looking for something, but it was not there.

"Let me go, Sir. Goodbye," Gulf pulled his hand away and left the place after paying.

Kao sat there for a while before leaving; he returned to his office but he just sat there daydreaming about Gulf's words. He pulled out a drawer and there was one box that contained a bracelet. It was a black bracelet, but it looked worn out and burned a bit.

Suddenly, Kao remembered Gulf's words at the university where he said no one lasts forever and one can only depend on oneself.

"What if someone does last forever? Someone who's just waiting to be noticed?" Kao placed the bracelet back and closed his drawer. He leaned back in his chair, closing his eyes.

Gulf returned to his apartment and settled his groceries before going to shower. He placed his watch in the drawer next to a small box. He opened it and saw the bracelet. He went to reach for the bracelet but stopped and pulled his hand back.

"You can't waver, Gulf! I am sorry, Khun, but it's better if you and I stay strangers," Gulf closed the drawer and went to shower.

Gulf leaned back in his chair, massaging his temple. He had a headache since yesterday but he did not want to take the day off as he was still new.

"Forgot to buy medicine too," Gulf muttered, closing his eyes to sleep off the headache.

After 30 minutes, Gulf was awakened by a knock on his door. The dean came to tell Gulf that there was a plastic bag in front of his office. He figured Gulf is not aware by it and wanted to make sure everything was okay.

"Oh, sorry, Sir. I was just resting and did not notice any knocks," Gulf stood up and took the plastic bag.

"It's okay but you look pale. Maybe you should go home," the dean offered.

"It's okay. I will just sleep it off. I have class in one hour and it's my last class for the day," Gulf explained.

"If you say so. But if you ever feel worse, please take a day off," Gulf nodded and thanked the dean.

"Anyway, did you see Mr. Nattawut? He told me he was walking around the lecturer's office but when I got here, he was nowhere," the dean tried to look around the place but saw no sign of Kao.

"No, I did not," Gulf gulped, hoping he would not bump into Kao. The dean then excused himself to let Gulf rest.

Gulf opened the plastic bag and saw a bottle of warm milk, a sandwich, and a pill for his headache. There was a note in the bag.

"Do not forget to eat first before taking your medicine. The medicine is not the drowsy kind so you should be able to teach later on."

Gulf furrowed his brow. Who sent the medicine to him? How does this person know his schedule and if he has a headache? The only person he told was the dean and the students in his class before.

"Must be the students," Gulf smiled, grateful for his students.

Gulf's last class finished and he was on his way to his motorcycle. He felt better after taking the medicine. The dean offered to bring him back but Gulf rejected his offer kindly.

As Gulf was on his way to his motorcycle, someone approached him.

"Hello, sir," one of the students bowed and smiled at Gulf.

The student offered to drive Gulf back home because he was worried, but Gulf once again declined the offer. The other students expressed their concerns since Gulf looked unstable during class.

"I can drive your lecturer back home"
