Bright bought a bottle of water and brought it to the car. The man in the passenger seat was trying to calm his breath.

"Here, take this and take a deep breath," Bright offered the water, and Gulf took it gratefully.

Gulf was scared but relieved that Bright was there. Bright panicked when he realized Gulf hadn't returned home yet, so he quickly left his office to pick him up. He saw a car beside Gulf, which only left when he arrived.

"I don't want to talk about Ja right now. I'll take you home, and you can tell me whenever you're ready," Bright said as he brought Gulf home.

Gulf explained that Ja didn't pick up his calls and messages, so he walked to the main road, where someone tried to rob him. He called Ja but got no answer. Thankfully, someone helped him.

"What the hell is wrong with Ja?!" Bright raised his voice slightly. Ja was his boyfriend! How could he leave Gulf just like that?

Gulf remained silent while Bright fumed. They arrived at Gulf's apartment, and Bright offered to walk him to the door. Gulf nodded, still shaken by the incident. When they arrived, they saw Ja glaring at them.

"P!" Ja quickly took Gulf's hand and pulled him closer.

"Ja! Careful!" Bright reminded Ja.

"What does it matter to you? You're not his boyfriend! You shouldn't think you can steal him from me just because you've known him longer," Ja raised his voice.

"Ja..." Gulf slowly rubbed Ja's hand.

"P, you want to defend this guy? I am your boyfriend, not him. I told you I was jealous, but you still want to be close with him," Ja turned around and glared at Gulf.

"You fucker!" Bright moved to punch Ja but was stopped by Gulf.

"Bright... please go," Gulf said softly. He was tired and just wanted everything to be over.

"He can't go until you explain why someone else is bringing my boyfriend home! Is it because you feel more comfortable with him and not me?!" Ja lashed out in frustration.

"Because Bright answered my call when I needed him! Not like my boyfriend, whom I called and texted many times with no response! I waited for you for hours, but where were you?! Do you know what happened to me just now?! Without Bright, I might have died!" Gulf pulled his hand away forcefully. Exhausted, he went straight into the apartment.

Ja was stunned by Gulf's sudden outburst. He had completely forgotten that he was supposed to take Gulf on a date today.

"For your information, when Gulf almost got robbed today, the first person he called was you. But where were you? He rejected my offer earlier so you wouldn't get jealous, but is this what he gets for thinking about his boyfriend? Think about it, Ja. Don't regret it if Gulf leaves you for good in the future," Bright then left.

Ja quickly went inside and to their room. He tried to open the door, but it was locked. Ja knocked on the door, calling for Gulf.

"P... I'm sorry... I really forgot. Today we had a sudden visit from an important client, and I forgot to inform you. I couldn't find my phone until now. I'm sorry, P... Please open the door. I need to know if you're okay," Ja called out to Gulf.

After half an hour of begging, Gulf finally stood up and opened the door. Ja saw Gulf's red, tear-streaked eyes.

"P..." Ja quickly embraced Gulf, rubbing his back repeatedly, asking for forgiveness.

"I... I was scared... You weren't there. I really thought I was going to die... It was so scary..." Gulf clutched Ja's shirt.

"Sorry, P... It was all my fault. You can blame me, yell at me, do anything you want. I'm so sorry, P," Ja kissed Gulf's forehead, eyes, cheeks, and lips, repeatedly saying sorry.

"Bad Ja. You made me wait alone for hours," Gulf lightly hit Ja on the chest.

"I know, I am bad. It was all my fault. I am so sorry, P. I promise not to do it again. Please forgive me," Ja held both of Gulf's hands.

Gulf nodded. Ja smiled lightly and kissed Gulf on the lips. He then asked if Gulf had any injuries. Ja told Gulf he would cook dinner and asked him to shower.

Gulf went to place his watch in the drawer when he saw Ja's phone inside. He remembered Ja brought his phone to his office. Maybe he was wrong?

"Ja... I found your phone inside the drawer," Gulf showed it to Ja. Ja let out a relieved sigh.

"So, there it was! I was searching all over the office. Thank you, P," Ja kissed Gulf's forehead. He quickly asked Gulf to shower first.

Gulf hesitated but then remembered that this was Ja, his boyfriend of five years, going to be sixth year in few months. He should trust Ja to keep their relationship stable. After showering, they had dinner together and went to sleep. Gulf woke up in the middle of the night and realized Ja was not beside him. Gulf slowly went to the kitchen where he saw Ja making a phone call.

"Ja?" Gulf called out. Ja looked up and quickly ended the call. He smiled and brought Gulf back to bed. Gulf tried to ask but was shut down quickly by Ja, who said it was a client.

"I love you, baby," was the last sentence Gulf heard before hitting the pillows.
