On the way back, Simon rode with me in the car again. The only difference was the constant silence, when the car stopped, I got out of the car just before Simon.

He followed me quietly and all I could think about was how his footsteps were barely audible, his breathing so even and calm. It reminded me of the first time I met him about 5 days ago, this time he was serious, he didn't want to give me the pleasure of hitting out or even talking to me.

While my father and Simon were giving orders, I sighed and made my way upstairs. I took a few steps up the stairs when I hear Simon talking to someone.

S: Guard the west for the night, Devon takes the east, north belongs to Jacob and Parker, south is Mr. Gates, so I advise you to choose men who are willing to work overnight.
?: Who is on Isabell's side?
S: You know I am.

I get to my room when I hear another voice giggling.

?: She's hot, isn't she, Riley? What I'd give to have your job.
S: ...to work Johnny, report back to Z.
J: Got it boss.

I sit down on my bed and watch Simon walk back down the hall towards my room. But then my dad turns the corner and bumps into him.

D: Ah Simon, just who I wanted to talk to.

I watch my dad press his finger into Simon's chest with a big grin on his face, all the while kicking off my heels to look like I'm not easy to let go of.

D: I'm very proud of you, son. Isa said you were a very responsible man and did everything in her will to make her feel safe.
S: That's what I intended. I'm glad she feels that way.

A small eye roll left me as I tossed a shoe to the side. I felt safe when we finally arrived. I didn't feel safe when he said he would kill me if he could for being so annoying. The only time I was really satisfied was when he brought me something to eat after he considered letting me starve.

Three hours later, I was standing there at 3am in my underwear and bra, craving something to eat. I would have fallen asleep by now, but I couldn't sleep with the constant noise of the electric fence around my window, my dad never played a joke when it came to protection.

In the meantime, everyone is asleep, I tie a gray linen coat around myself that fell to my thighs and I gasp and reach for the doorknob, knowing that Simon could be out there with a loaded gun, not like he would shoot me with it but he would definitely demand that I go back inside. I turn the knob and notice that Simon isn't there so I head to the kitchen.

I stayed as quiet as possible as I found a box filled with cookies and a glass of water.

After grabbing them, I head out into the hallway once more. Down the hallway, I hummed quietly to myself.

S: What are you doing outside of your bedroom?

My breath caught in my throat, my eyes widened as I turned around to see a gun held tightly in his hands. He watched me with a frown, his fingers near his ear as he muttered into the speaker.

S: Found what set off the Lazer Z. I'll take care of it.

He straightens back up and puts his gun back in his pocket.

S: You set off the alarm and put the whole guard shift on alert because of a box of damn cookies?
I: I was hungry.
S: I said call me if you need anything but don't leave the bedroom at three in the morning for that.
I: Well, I'm sorry.

I felt myself grinning a little at that, knowing this was my chance to push him to his limits. I then head back towards the kitchen and he follows me.

S: What are you doing now?

I didn't answer, instead I put my glass and cookies back on the counter.

I: You know what? I'm not even hungry.
S: Okay, then I'll take you to your room And make sure you stay in this time.

My shoulders shrugged.

I: I'm really sorry.

I purse my lips a little, looking casually apologetic. Simon, however, was eyeing me carefully, wanting to examine exactly what the hell was going through my mind.

I: I understand I shouldn't have done that, it was wrong of me.
S: I have other things to attend to, go to your room now, Isa.

He warns, turning around and not waiting for me to follow him. A low grunt of annoyance escapes my lips and he leads me back to my room, at which point, while looking through my bedroom window, I open my dressing gown and let it fall at my feet.

When he turns around and sees me, he clenches his jaw tightly and stares at my figure.

I: What? Are you crazy about what I wear to sleep in?

Even though he knew exactly what I was doing, he hadn't bothered to bring it up. He started to move toward the door, but I rushed toward him just as he reached for the knob. I grab his arm and he turns quickly, ready to yell at me, but I wrap my arms around his neck and look into his angry eyes.

S: Isabell.

He growled, grabbing my arms that were wrapped around his neck. I leaned forward more, making sure he was looking me straight in the eyes.

I: You've been staring at me all day.

I comment quietly, looking at his lips. He tries to pull my arms away from him, but I take one of his hands and place it on my ass.

I: I know you're dying for this.

I was satisfied when he didn't argue, but he remained silent. His lips were no longer pressed into a thin line, they were plump and looked soft; my weakness. When I left his hand, he moved it down to my thigh, gently running his fingertips over it, I resisted a smile, knowing he was slowly accepting this.

I let one of my hands wander to a loose strand of hair dangling above his eyes, running it back through his curls as I watch his dark eyes pierce mine. For a second he looked lost and distracted.

I took my chance to press my lips to his, slowly feeling him kiss me, our lips moving in sync, slow and passionate as I felt his soft fingers touch my cheek, him caressing my face, desperately bringing my face closer to his. My satisfaction grew by the second, but that was quickly lost as he pulled away.

I: I'm sorry, I was a bad girl, wasn't I?

Simon takes a deep breath.

S: You know what happens to bad girls, dollface?
I: What?

I scream as he picks me up, and soon I was thrown onto the mattress, not in that sweet, playful way you see in movies. It was hard, with him staring at me from the foot of the bed. I sit up quickly, my breath leaving my mouth, my hair covering my face, and my shocked expression staring back at him.

S: Do that one more damn time and I'll make you cry harder than you ever have in your 21 damn years. Stay in this room, this is my last warning before I show you how awful I can really get.

And with that, he storms out of the room.
