Farah offered intelligent information, she was undoubtedly smart. Still, I didn't like her because she insulted Isa. Maybe I'm childish and have a slight grudge, but I don't like her at all, grateful for her help, but there's no way I'm going to show that.I sit silently on the edge of the bed, damp hair dripping and skin glistening with droplets of water from a recent shower. I've put on a pair of black pants but that's all, my energy is low and my patience has long since run out, I close my eyes and breathe in, breathing in the calm of my mind before it goes back into overwork.
The door squeaks open and in comes Farah with her cocky grin. I glance at her briefly, irritated by her lack of respect for privacy, but I can't be a hypocrite. I did the same with Isa first. All those times she screamed at me to get me away, I just loved seeing her nervous.
I don't say anything without the intention of socializing, but she has other plans.
F: You need help, Simon.
She states, a grin that never leaves her face.
F: You really do. I mean, love is such a... fictional thing, thought people like us were a little more immune?
I stand up, refusing to answer as I reach into a drawer and pull out a black t-shirt. Farah continues to watch me with her arms crossed over her chest. I could tell she was really interested in poking around in my mind.
F: What is she like?
She asks and my head snaps in her direction.
F: You know... that Isa girl.
S: Fuck off, now.
F: Wow.She frowns mockingly and raises her hands in false defense.
F: Please, stay calm. It was just a question.
S: You ask too many questions.
F: Okay, listen.She sighs.
F: I'm just kidding you, we have something to do, we're going out now.
S: Right now? In daylight?I wonder and am curious, maybe at the end of the day I trust these people too much. Although I'm not worried about her or myself. Just Isa.
F: Vailer is a bit ruthless.
S: Okay then. Let's get this over with.I mutter, grabbing my gun and putting it in my back pocket. I don't care about my damp hair as I quickly walk through the door and pass Farah with little care.
Vailer wears a black ski mask and amusingly offers one to everyone else. Some of the men like to take one and giggle with Vailer until he sniffs.
V: Now back to damn work.
I shake my head and decide not to wear one. Slightly frustrated, I run my hands over my face, clench my jaw, and almost bounce off the walls. I have to go to her. What if they want to kill her? What if she cracked and told them all the codes?
Within minutes I was sitting in the back seat of a car with Farah by my side while Vailer and the driver sat in the front, staring out the window, lost in thought, legs bouncing and mind racing. I must see her alive or God forbid I bring hell to the surface of the earth. I would go on a rampage and kill anything I saw that breathed or simply moved on reflex. Pretty scary, although I can only admit it's true.

We approach the waiting city and I stare hatefully out the window. The big sign says it all, but I don't care.V: Please, tell me you know what you're doing. Buddy.
Vailer glances at the driver, and the driver glances back.
?: Of course I do, boss.
V: What did I tell you about calling me boss?
?: U-um...K-buddy?
V: Slow down, we're not that close.
