CHAPTER 8: "Minas Tirith"

Minas Tirith was so huge and so bright. The white stones reflected the sun making my eyes squint. The castle was on the highest tip

We came to the door and where stopped by guards.

"Can I help you?" said one guard.

"We are here to see King Aragorn." Legolas said.

"Is he expecting you?" said again the guard.

"No but tell him Legolas, Prince of Mirkwood is here with friends" said.

The guards nodded and went in. I went over to the wall.

"Whoa!" I leaned back. Kili stopped me.

"Why are we so high up?" I asked to Legolas.

"I'm not sure." Legolas said. I grabbed Kili's hand to balance myself.

The guards came back out.

"His highness will see you" said the one who started to talk to us first before.

They opened the door. The wall was white with statues on both sides. On the far end there were two thrones and two figures.

We walked over to them. A man with a silver crown black shoulder length hair and a beard and mustache. He got up and came to Legolas.

"Hello my dear friend" said Aragorn.

"Hello Aragorn" said Legolas.

"Who do we have here?" said Aragorn.

"These are my friends. Marta." Marta bowed. "Master Kili." Kili bowed. "And Katie." I started to bow but I step on my dress and almost fell. Aragorn just smiled. Kili put his arm around me.

"It's ok." He whispered.

"Welcome friends. Allow me introduce my lovely wife Arwen" sid Aragorn.

I was amazed Arwen was an elf.

"You are an elf!" Marta said but quickly covered her mouth. Arwen smiled.

"Yes I am" she said with a sweet voice.

"I don't believe it!" A male voice came from behind us.

We turned it was a dwarf almost had handsome as Kili. He had blond hair.

"Fili!" Kili went and hugged him.

"Master Fili has been gracious enough to help us plan for what's to come" said Aragorn.

"Fili, come" Kili brought him over to us. "You know Legolas. This is Marta and this..." He took my hand and led me over. "...this is Katie. Marta, this is my brother Fili."

"His older and charming brother" said Fili and smiled at me.

Kili shook his head.

"Now Katie you and Marta go with Arwen she will help you get ready" said Aragorn.

"Ready for what?" Marta asked to Aragorn.

"We are having a banquet in honor of my friends" answered Aragorn.

Marta and I smiled at each other and followed Arwen.

While we were leaving the room I saw that Aragorn, Legolas, Kili and Fili were coming into another room.
